When guys talk about farting to a girl, is that a sign of a friend zone?

does that mean she is being put in the friend zone or that he is just comfortable around her enough to talk about it?

A guy I've been dating for a couple weeks brought up farting twice, the first time he said when he laughs to hard he sometimes farts and the second time he said soda makes him gassy.

Given that he keeps asking me to hang out, is it because he can see me as a good friend, or because he's just comfortable enough around me to bring this up?

Could just be comfortable. My ex and I were comfortable with bringing up bodily issues like that. It didn't make us without manners. We weren't like, "Hey, let's have a farting competition" or something.
It doesn't put you in the just friend zone at all.
I personally find it to be a compliment when a girl feels comfortable enough to share something like that with me. Sure, it seems weird to bring up, but it does feel a little good to know that they feel as though they can trust you with whatever they do or need or want to tell you without being ashamed or embarrassed.

All I can say is that he has no manner what so ever. He is probably comfortable around you and trying to get your attention by bringing those topics. Even to a guy's point of view it's nasty and rude. Keep some distance from him. It will tell him some kind of message. Good luck.

You're thinking way too into this. He's dating you, you obviously aren't in the friend zone. A lot of times guys don't think before they talk so him talking about farting isn't something he thought in his head about telling you before he did it.

Well farts aren't as sweet smelling as queefs, but if he unloads a nuke with hilarious impact sounds to it I'll count him in as a friend indeed.

I actually spoke the exact same way to a guy I liked. I told him that laughing too hard makes me fart, that soda makes me gassy, that cheese gives me gas, etc. I told him “I need to take a shit” or “I have to take a dump” whenever I needed to relieve my bowels. I straight up told him “I gotta fart” and then farted in front of him whenever I had to fart. I still do all of these things, but now he’s my boyfriend. It’s just a way of showing trust and intimacy. Usually it’s a girl’s way, not a guy’s way, but it’s possible for a guy to do it too.

It all depends on the signs he is giving you... But its really not too good talking about that in front of a girl that isn't your girlfriend yet.. So maybe he is either trying too much to make you laugh or just doesn't have anything to say or just want to keep you as a friend

Honestly it could be either. There is no clear cut answer to this question. I could talk about farting with a girl I like and a girl who is my close friend.
