If someone mistaken you and your best friend as a couple, would you immediately correct them?

Twice. My best friend didn't. He just laughed. I tried correcting the guy teasing us together but it sounded lame. Why didn't he say anything? He just looked at me and grinned (ahhh... Cuteness!). I wish it's because he liked the sound of it too (I thought it had a nice ring to it... tee hee...). Well, I'm glad he didn't say "No, no, no, that would be a disaster" or something like that. He's a very witty guy and can come up with some crazy answer in a split second (every time we banter that's how it is anyway) but he just kept on grinning without saying anything. Dreamy sigh.

My best friend answer always was "No, we just sleep together, all the time" (we used to spend loads of overnights together if we travel or just at each other places, never even kissed though) so the answer like this would always make me smile. But I never thought too much into it :) Cause we were and still are just friends.

I had another friend, and I liked him so I answered this question once with "I wish" and he smiled and kissed me the same night, so score :DD

Arghh. Lucky you! The first answer is a good one but we only travelled together once and shared a room with separate beds, with another friend. As for the second answer, well, I wish I'm that brave to say it first. Lol. Hmmmm... Maybe I should try that someday and add a wink at the end of it like as if I'm kidding to save face? In case he finds the idea absurd? Lol. Idk. What if I make things weird between us by saying that?

Idk, I think a girl and a guy can never be just friends, one of them always feels a bit more than friendship. Ye, I was lucky to get that kiss, but it ended in weeks, ha ha, we still stayed friends and now we are able to talk and joke around about sex and not a one friend even knows we did it, ha ha. But if you are very good friends saying something like "I wish" shouldn't scare him off, just make sure you were joking. And maybe if you like him a lot, you can mention it to him.

Gosh. That's really awesome that you could still be good friends after that and joke about it. People say sex changes the friendship. Well, maybe I might be brave enough to say "I wish" just to see his reaction. If he looks flabbergasted or about to stay something that might embarrass me, I'll add "Dream come true" and roll my eyes. Lol. I do like him lots but I don't know about him so I might be the only one who feels more. No point to tell him unless I know its mutual.

Having excatly the same problem! Iv asked the same question on well nearly the same and it could mean they are attatched to you meaning they like you! But the boy starred at me and called me a name teasing me but his the type to say no excatly likes you :')

I was in line somewhere with a male friend and we were talking and someone came up to us and asked if we were dating. In unison we responded with, "Yes, but not each other." We both had our own relationships lol so the response was funny.

For one, it's a compliment to my friend so I'm agreeing with it, two I don't see the need to correct some stranger.

I would if I wasn't attracted to them, or if I knew that my best friend may be into me... Because I'd not want to hurt her feelings. Other than that if I like the girl, I don't answer to see how she reacts...

Haha, well you're clearly into him. I'd probably laugh and correct it if he's just a friend to me and I don't want to be seen as taken. I might also go along with it sometimes, but if I like him I definitely wouldn't jump to correct it.

Lol. When I tried correcting our friend at first, it just didn't sound right either and I gave up when I saw him laughing. My answer sounded lame or was it I stuttered my answer. Lol. The second time our friend teased us, we both just grinned at him and didn't bother saying anything. He was only teasing after-all but it still felt good hearing it. Lol.
