It's not wrong, but I think it looks creepy. My first ever crush was Orlando Bloom as Legolas, but doing that to the ears is just too far in my opinion.
I will say, it looks halfway normal on the first girl with her cute little red hair :)
The second picture is like... too obvious, trying too much.
The third is like garden pixie man.
Overall, I think it's trying to hard/lost to reality, BUT I wouldn't judge someone/not be nice to someone who did this.
-No, it's not wrong to want them. You can desire anything you please, and no one can stop you.
-You already realize that you're general social circle will be limited. Work, friends, romantic relationships etc., but why would you care to be around those that wouldn't accept you.
-In my opinion, you're not really losing much, just opening yourself to a more close-knit community.
-You want them? Get them lol
I think its interesting. I call them the Spock ears though. Dont listen to what others think of the whole body modification thing (tattoos, piercings, or implants) it's your body.
is that an implant?
i'm kinda anti-implant because germs colonize the thing and it gets infected
oh wow (=゚ω゚)
well it's interesting
I don't like this in any way. It's so unnecessary. I could not be with a lady that attracts attention with things like this, whether that's her intention or not.
I don't like this. I don't like tattoos. I don't like piercings. I don't like boob jobs or any other types of "job". I've always been pretty consistent with this. For me, they are all deal breakers. As are ex-prostitutes, ex-porn stars and ex-cam girls.
Sherbert!! There's no one left for me to date!! Hey-ho, I'll stay single!! LOL!!
No, just no.
As much as I love Legolas, that's a no. It's not attractive in real life.
No, but just the pictures...
But still... if I can't find them attractive in pictures, I would dislike them even more in real life.
She can't keep them covered constantly. If I'm gonna date her, I'm gonna see her in many different states, so I'm definitely gonna see her ears many many many times, I don't wanna look at her ears and be thrown away by them.
Nothing. I'm not into body modifications, not even boob augmentation. I prefer natural, the real her. I value authenticity.
Probably, cause that's not the type of person I wanna be with. It's not just something physical, it's mental too. Not talking about mental issues, but it's a way of thinking, it's part of their personality.
And you keep saying it's hidden, but no it's not. Am I supposed to never touch her hair? I won't be able to kiss her ears when getting frisky? I'm not gonna be able to take a shower with her and wash her hair? It's not hidden.
I also don't wanna raise kids thinking that they can just modify their body if they don't like it.
I just don't like that. I simply don't.

I didn't know this was a thing. But you know, it works for the second pic.
Do what makes you happy. It is your money. It wouldn't be weird to say it's natural. When I was little, I had pointed ears not as pointed as the pictures though. As I got older, they stopped pointing.
I mean I don't really like body mods (my opinion by no means important) but if you'd like one go for it. But just make sure the place you get it done at is credible and that you take good care of it after you get it done.
I say: Do whatever the fuck you want. There will ALWAYS be someone out there who either A) Thinks it's fucking dope or B) Thinks you're so awesome that it is a total none issue.
I think small ones are cute. Don't mind people who are rude about it rather than saying they don't like it. Not everyone will like something but if you like it that's all that matters :)
I think they are so cool and would probably be down for it (I was named after an elven princess) if I wasn't a baby.
I kind of like them actually! I'd personally not do it because in my line of work it's frowned on but they're cute
Might look good on some people though majority of people in the world will just hate on you for it and think you're trash. :(
"My imaginary dick"
@FallOutBoy2001 Yes, I have one of those.
As do I. Mainly so assholes can suck on it when they insult things like my music tastes
ummm i love tattoos and piercing but that... that is weird lol
Second girl looks kind of cute. I don't think it's something you would still want when you're older.
Is it painful?
Depends on if you get it gone by a plastic surgeon or a licensed body modifier. If you get it done by a surgeon they can provide anesthetics, but if it's by a licensed body modifier they're not allowed to use anesthesia since they're not doctors. However, if you get it done by a plastic surgeon the price can range from $2000-$7000 bucks, but if done by a body modification artist the price can range from $400-$800 bucks.
Oh wow. I would totally pass!
What's funny is how people in the comments are like "good luck getting hired" and I'm like you'd have to already have a job to pay for these things you idiot. Money doesn't grow on trees. Yeah, they're rather pricey, but I think they're better than tattoo's since if you don't want to see them you can hide them behind hair. If you want to hide a tattoo then what? Will you use paint? xD
I don't think they're as obvious or controversial as tattoos as far as a workplace goes but that's just me.
It's not wrong to want one but I don't think it looks very good.
I mean, it can be pretty cute! But personally it's not for me. :)
You can do what you want... but it might affect you getting a professional job.
I wanted this when I was 13, now I probably wouldn't. I'm covered in tattoos and piercings.
so what happens when you get bored of em? just change em back?
Weird, but not a deal breaker. I actually prefer tattoos cause they're awesome😊
I have 7 piercings and I don't think is a bad thing , lol but the elf ears kind of weird tbh
Good luck getting a respectable job looking like an elf lol.
Stupid thing to waste money on, in my opinion.
LOL. ayyyy. Downvote #ElfEarsMatter
OP is a social justice warrior fighting for her elf ears. She will be extremely respected within the professional workforce
@Fearless_banana I love how you think I'll just be flaunting them around. I could hide them behind hair and no one would ever know. The only way they'd be obvious is if they aren't hidden, and sorry for not always agreeing with bigots and people who have no idea about the topics they rant about.
Dude having pointed elf ears is very strange lmao. You don't realize this?
Lol don't come at me dude. You're going to be judged negatively for the rest of your life if you do that dude. It doesn't matter if you're offended by what I'm telling you or not the end result will be that. I would never hire someone if I ever noticed they had elf ears. It looks ridiculous.
@Fearless_banana But how would you notice if the ears are covered? You'll also be judged for the rest of your life because as big as you are people would assume you're some jock wanna be who doesn't take anything seriously, and whose muscles will sag over time (yes that can happen). And if you don't want shots fired at you don't fire any yourself to begin with. You can say it looks weird and that it's not appealing to you, but saying shit like "op is a social justice warrior" and yaddah yaddah won't help shots not getting fired right back at you. Just because some peoples views about certain topics conflict with yours doesn't automatically make them some social justice warrior. It just means you don't argee with that particular topic.
I realize I'm pretty big but I can easily cut weight and I still look respectable in professional attire. Your hair will not be covering your elf ears 100 percent of the time. What you are doing is ridiculous and you know it is because everyone on this thread is saying that yet you choose to fight them to the grave. Listen to what people are telling you
OP getting elf ears is ridiculous you know it is in the back your head otherwise you wouldn't be asking for assurance lol. At least thoroughly think this through. I'm just telling you that from a professional standpoint j would never respect someone like that nor would any of my friends who are in the professional work force l. Your hair will not hide it all the time. Your future boyfriends parents will not respect you. You will have a negative notion surrounding you for the rest of your lives. Elf ears 😂😂 cmon dude
You will look ridiculous to 95% of the population
do with your body what you want but it looks like shit in my opinion.
it looks cool
Elf? Or Vulcan? :D
nah i don't like it personally.
Oh hey, more body mutilation.
I didn't know those looked like this...
www.bjwinslow.com/.../...tilation_combo_061038.jpg
I don't think that word means what you think it means, fam.
Thats just plain ugly
Dont care for it at all.
Anytime :)
Looks weird
That looks a bit stupid.
Also dwarves > elves.
Well your gonna loose some hotness
Sorry
Such body modifications look ugly.
Thaare disgusting. Good luck getting hired.
and for people that might actually be born that way? Will they just turn them away because of a mutation?
It's called a malfunctioning cell phone.
@Mustachekitteh I am implying that it's disgusting to do that to yourself.
how? Just because someone has their ear done like that or born with ears that look mutated?
I'm not, but thanks for being an idiot. I wouldn't use welfare unless I was in a very bad slump in life, and it would only be used for essential things like groceries. You must be living in an area where there's a lot of welfare leeches to even come to such an idiotic conclusion.
You're the one who fired shots first. Don't get pissy with me when I fire back, and I also work a job and I'm in school for computer sciences to work my way up to a better one so I wouldn't have to work 2 jobs all my life just to get by. And some people are hypocrites. How could I know if you are or are not one? It's like how there's people around saying all Asian guys are ugly/unattractive meanwhile they could be Asian themselves.
How strange.
that looks weirddd
