@MidnightCowboy haha yeah the amount of triggered snowflake traditional pigs in this thread is actually quite funny in a sad way. As I said in a different comment here, it would almost be entertaining if it wasn't so depressing.
I'm being conservative. A transsexual is someone who lobs off their male appendage and changes their name to Roxy. A drag queen does the same thing, they just don't have surgery for it. Not being mean, it's factual.
And it DOES have to do with gay people. People who are 100% heterosexual wouldn't put on a dress and fake boobs. You disgust me, go back to watching CNN.
@Tsunk - You said a cross dressing is when 'a gay boy puts on girls clothes'. Those were your exact words. Which means a woman must be a lesbian if she doesn't wear a dress (because a dress is 'girls clothes'). Or do your standards of assessing soneone's sexual orientation apply ONLY to men? And what about all the gay men who don't wear dresses? And what about Scottish warriors in kilts, are they all gay? I know it's embarrassing seeing your argument unravelling but don't accuse me of trying to put words in your mouth. I'm just exposing the flaws in what passes for your 'logic'. Massive difference.
And frustratingly I'm generally the most conservative in the room and usually have lefties yelling at me calling me a Nazi (I'm not a Nazi, just to clarify). It's sad that the level of logic here is so low I'm having to defend what would generally be considered the left.
@Tsunk I'm a Republican. I'm on the right. Thanks for trying, though. I love when people decide to make false assumptions and I love how stupid it makes them look.
According to a lot of the comments here a woman who isn't wearing a dress couldn't possibly be a real woman. This utter hypocrisy would almost be entertaining if it wasn't so depressing.
Most guy clothes are unisex tbh. Society has placed its own ideas as to what guys and girls can and cannot wear. Holy fuck, the amount of people who are so triggered at this is insane.
@Tsunk lordy, can we leave that stupid word at the door? Calling someome triggered has turned into a way of saying they're overreacting or getting crazy over something when in 99% of the cases it's used the person just has a strong view about something and voiced it. Sick of this triggering to dismiss a viewpoint shit. So weak.
Your men? An individual DOES NOT belongs to anybody, nor they have the need or obligation to fit others needs, perspectives or reality. Not even society's standards. If he wants to do crossdressing, my respect and all my support. Live and let live. Respect most importantly. We are all different and we must love and accept each other for who they are, NOT for who WE want them to be.
@Kittoleonixel Holy crap that was so funny, but so savage at the same time. I respect your viewpoint. By the way, Natalie, I hope I don't end up working in any capacity where you are in a higher position than me, because I am a human, not an object.
My intent wasn’t to offend anybody. And by “my men” I mean the guys I date. I think you took my opinion way out of proportion. I respect everybody’s lifestyle, but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with it. That’s the case here.
@wolecollner - A woman wearing pants isn't considered cross dressing because it's culturally accepted now, duh. Do you have any idea how hard women had to fight (and for how long) to gain the rights to not be forced to wear skirts? If a woman put on pants 150 years ago it was most certainly considered cross dressing and could get her thrown in an asylum. Yet now it's such an everyday occurrence that ignorant people like you can't see the hypocrisy inherent in the belief that a man shouldn't put on a skirt. But believe me, a woman in pants is no different than a man in a skirt (they're all just stitches of cloth). You would have been one of the people utterly shocked by the idea of a woman wearing pants 150 years ago - you and your kind are sheeple and can't think outside of stereotypical norms. Once it becomes acceptable by societal standards for a man to wear a dress you'll be out there with the rest of them saying it's 'totally normal'.
Men and women have different jeans... different shoes, boots, socks, underwear. To get and say the mere concept of pants is for men only, that's is nitnonly ignorant but also pretty sexist. Technically, men wore skirts first, kilts were worn by men in Scotland before women wore skirts. So now women can't wear those, according to you, without cross dressing... that's dumb
A woman wearing anything but a dress *was* considered cross dressing for hundreds of years and could even get her thrown in an asylum for a long time. Women have actually been expected to wear dresses for much of human history, but as everyone agrees now a woman NOT wearing a dress isn't any less of a woman. Just a Scotsman isn't any less of a man for wearing a kilt. What I'm trying to point out is the hypocrisy in saying it's disgusting for a man to wear a dress when it's just a strip of cloth - especially as you've just used the kilt as an example to somehow defend your argument.
I'm not sure how much you know about history but both men and women wore dresses/skirt-type clothing long before trousers were invented. And look at the Romans, they weren't *less* manly just because they wore a toga. It's only your perception and the fact that you're buying into temperamental and constantly changing societal norms that's causing you to say it's 'disgusting' for a man to wear a dress.
It's disgusting NOW, to cross dress. Romans had no choice. People couldn't wear pants before they were invented. It's not hypocritical because there is specific clothes for men and women now. Even if it's the same item, they are styled and sewn differently.
You can't look through a historical lenses to judge the current culture. Something happening in the past doesn't make it good or bad now. Today is separate from the past or the future. Who knows, in 2000 years it may shift again
What Girls & Guys Said
Opinion
30Opinion
I can't see the attraction, but whatever. You like it you do it. Can't stop, won't stop. Free country brah.
Do it man, believe in yourself, the only opinion that matters is your own
If you want to, go ahead. You're free to do what you want even if I wouldn't.
Go to a comic or anime convention. No one there really cares if you cross dress.
I'm not really a social person, and I absolutely abhor anime.
Ok then go cross dress in a south park convention or something.
If you need to do it just do it already. Stop begging for permission no one is going to give you permission that matters.
My boyfriend looks good in women clothing
Just go for it dude. Who are you harming if you want to try on a bit of makeup and some dresses?
I'm harming the sexist and overly-traditional pigs who live in our world.
The traditional pigs are snowflakes, they whine 24/7
Pay no attention to them
@MidnightCowboy haha yeah the amount of triggered snowflake traditional pigs in this thread is actually quite funny in a sad way. As I said in a different comment here, it would almost be entertaining if it wasn't so depressing.
@Liloh_Rydstrom What's funnier is they call liberals snowflakes lol
@MidnightCowboy It actually might be true that liberals are snowflakes, because I'm a conservative.
Conservatives here blocked me for having a different viewpoint lol
@MidnightCowboy Damn, that's stupid. This means I might not fit the mold of a stereotypical conservative.
I have no issues with crossdressing
It's a m a z i n g. I love it.
I myself wouldn't do it. But if that's what you're into be happy don't let other people stop you
Sorry. Crossdressing is?
When a gay boy puts on girl clothes. It's rather disturbing honestly.
This is drag queen or transsexual isn't it? Are you serious or just being mean?
I'm being conservative. A transsexual is someone who lobs off their male appendage and changes their name to Roxy. A drag queen does the same thing, they just don't have surgery for it. Not being mean, it's factual.
Oh okay. Wow... Im learning new crap every day here lol thanks
@Tsunk straight men cross dress too. Just like straight women wear pants. I know, mind blown.
@Tsunk Fuck you. I'm straighter than the pole your mom dances on at night. No one needs homophobic and sexist pricks like you.
Now you guys twisted my brain lol what is it then
See, crossdressing is an activity undertaken by people of all races, genders, sexual orientations, etc. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO DO WITH GAY PEOPLE.
Why the anger dude?
And it DOES have to do with gay people. People who are 100% heterosexual wouldn't put on a dress and fake boobs. You disgust me, go back to watching CNN.
@Tsunk you're showing your ignorance. Is a woman a lesbian just because she doesn't wear a dress?
Never said that? LOL. Typical left shit, trying to put words in my mouth 😂😂😂

I cross dress as a fashion statement
Interesting experience to have
That's not the kind of opinion I was looking for.
Its The day and age of equality man.
in my opinion. I dont really like the idea of it
Men are men and women are women... case closed
Hope you aren't wearing trousers then young lady!
Says who, the fucking bible or the quran lol
@Annie_Mosity - Exactly.
According to a lot of the comments here a woman who isn't wearing a dress couldn't possibly be a real woman. This utter hypocrisy would almost be entertaining if it wasn't so depressing.

I don’t like it. I like my men to act like men.
Hi! My humble opinion with all due respect.
Your men? An individual DOES NOT belongs to anybody, nor they have the need or obligation to fit others needs, perspectives or reality. Not even society's standards. If he wants to do crossdressing, my respect and all my support. Live and let live. Respect most importantly. Can we speak in private?
Umm... sure?
I can help you a little
Alright. How?
What how?
R u white
Yes, but I have no idea why that matters.
I was just asking
Disgusting
Is it disgusting when a woman wears pants, jeans, or shorts? (anything that isn't a dress?) ..
Or do you think you might be a hypocrite? :)
That isn't cross dressing dumbass...
Finally someone said it @wolecollner
@wolecollner - A woman wearing pants isn't considered cross dressing because it's culturally accepted now, duh. There are female pants and man pants they are different
