My boyfriend wants me to have long hair. How can I grow it fast?

My boyfriend is obsessed with long hair. My current hair length is just above my chest, but it is wavy so it looks shorter than that. I like this length, but my boyfriend wants my hair to be around my waist. I never grew my hair long past my shoulder in my life so I do want to cut it short so badly. However he is against it. He even told me he will break up with me if I cut my hair.
So, is there anyway I can grow my hair more before I lose patience and cut it back short?

Cut your hair and said f him. He can’t dictate the length of your hair. It’s one thing to say that he likes long hair and encourage you to let it grow, but it’s a whole different thing to go all Fidel Castro and demand you let it grow or else he’ll dump you. He’s not worth it. I would say let him go, but what I mean is toss his ass in the garbage.
