It seems that in many ways men hold both extremes on many metrics, for instance: both the most successful at getting casual sex on one end and the worst at it on the other end.
Ever wonder why this might be?
Why wouldn’t the most attractive women have the easiest access?
That’s when it hit me: maybe the hottest men are just more beautiful than the hottest women. Let’s take a look.
I’ve attached some photos below with some insanely good looking people. People who, perhaps, shouldn’t even be on the 10 point scale. It might actually be better for the rest of us to have these sorts of outliers out on an 11-to-13 out of 10 score, the same way anything beyond a 150 or so IQ is technically off the chart unmeasurable. Anyways, ya know, cause then we would have a more normalized attraction rating scale/system. With mere mortals able to conduct business smoothly on things like Tinder without unicorns popping in to suck away all the comparable women away from us (which is currently what is happening). So, let’s get to it. See the photos below and tell me what you think.
Are attractive men more beautiful than attractive women?
So, my take on this whole thing: I’ve gone over this with my girlfriend before, and it seems to me that women are looking for something different than men are. She’d ask what dudes I thought were the best looking, and I forget who I said, I think one was like mid-80s Johnny Depp, like 21 Jump Street era, and she was just like “yeah... I think as a straight guy you’re looking for “pretty” men in your assessment.” And then the dudes she rattled off had more of a rugged appeal, but I was surprised because I didn’t think they were as textbook ‘good-looking’ as the prettyboy dudes. I think we’re looking for an absence of flaws, and probably some feminine qualities that we’d find attractive on a woman. Meanwhile, the chicks dig the guy that looks like he hasn’t shaved in a week and has a scar on his cheek, lmao, because that’s more in line with their desires. I’ve heard time and again, girls being turned off by some Ricky Martin-pretty dude, “he looks gay”, “he looks like he takes longer to get ready than me!” And I mean, in fairness, pretty-ass Ricky Martin is gay as a May daisy lmao, so it’s not too off base, in some cases, haha.
And I think all these dudes you posted look to be of that “pretty” model variety. Obviously you won’t see those guys solo on a Saturday night, there are women who like that, but really, by and large, I notice women go after a different brand of good looking than men do.
As many people have said beauty is completely subjective i have yet to see anything or meet anyone who is objectively beautiful. Although better looking then myself none of these people are quite what i would consider attractive. There is nothing wrong with any of them. none of them are... not, not good looking. But if you ask me something about each of these people looks a little... goofy?
And as for your comment about men being better at getting causual sex. Id like to see those numbers or where you got you information on that.
But what's insanely attractive people to you. Is a list of mostly... eh people to me. So no i men are not more attractive then women. You say vanilla ice cream is the best and point out why you think so. However i like chocolate ice cream.

Ps never compare things to an IQ score. Iq is just a number for people to brag about and in some ways a tool used by some people to put others down. IQ scores mean nothing. Unless MENSA is your life goal.
can't really compare apples to oranges. Each gender is gorgeous, but as an apple lover, apples will always have their extra appeal. By apples I mean men - because their features incite an instinctive attraction, not because they are somehow more beautiful than women.
Dimensionally, thats impossible, and vice versa in my opinion.
Also, those guys and girls pictured, may or may not be beautiful to my taste. In fact, I dont think any of them were 10's.
This guy pictured below, is SO FUCKING BEAUTIFUL lol he's a 10 to me, (fuzzy chest makes for a 15 lol,) so that also makes it hard to compare gender beauty...
and no i don not think men are more "beautiful" considering, women dont have to "try" hard to be well a women period. many "pretty" boys alternate their appearances. With tips they get from women and mimic after.
so not sure what you see. But i do find men more appealing and more alluring considering im heterosexual and men are just beautiful because they catch my eye.
Personally, I don’t find any of the people in the pictures that attractive except for the man in the 5th picture. And I don’t think it’s fair to compare male beauty and female beauty because both are very different. Brad Pitt is the most handsome man to me. Angelina Jolie is the most beautiful woman. Both are very attractive people.
Well this is quite interesting. For a few reasons.
I notice that many male models actually have feminine lookin faces, or over exaggerated male features at least.
Masculine faces are supposed to be wider with shorter jaws, like Brad Pitt. But these men aren’t chosen as male models by modeling agencies.
So that’s quite strange isn’t it? It’s almost as if to ask ‘who’s deciding what’s good genes and what isn’t?’ Maybe there’s a socially constructed idea at play.

lol, no. nice try but women are the fairer sex. a lot of men agree too. for every average woman you showed up there, I can find a picture of a much hotter, sexier woman. I. e. Antonia Iacobescu, Megan Fox, That brazillian Victoria secret model (damn what is her name? she has black and blue eyes but she is fucking stunning.) the men you posted are very hot, but that is minority of the male population. I don't see that many hot guys on a daily basis where I live. most are ordinary looking, which is fine, but refutes your statement
I can't really comment, as 100% honest the guys in those photos look like mummys boys, they would take longer then a girl to get ready but my type is not the concern.
I find indivdualism attractive, for example a flaw, maybe a bit uneven skin and such, am i attracted to flaws? NOO! But, honestly seeing picture perfect people makes me sick we see them everywhere, Im not jealous... just bored of it men AND women, I like to see someone whos human, perfection does nothing but turn me off.

Men & women aren’t attracted to the same things either. Tons of guys had bad luck with women till they got famous/money & then suddenly they have to beat women off with sticks for example
I think attractive men are seen as more beautiful because men have to rely on natural beauty and women can wear makeup and make anyone beautiful. Beautiful men are therefore rarer.

You gotta remember that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, so who you might think is attractive could be anyone else’s “meh”. You can’t establish something like this, “is men more beautiful” because everyone thinks different.
Hm, I don't think they're more beautiful, but I think that because people are so used to seeing women in make up, when a "beautiful" no make up woman is compared to beautiful men, who never wear make up anyway, it seems like the guy is better.
I'm not going to get into who is the best attractive person because I'm a straight guy but in the animal kingdom all the males look the best and stand out so I'm going with that in the human world that males are the best of all but there's no attraction to males as far as I go only women
Nevermind attractive, average women can get all the casual sex they want. It's just that not many women want casual sex, and those that do tend not to want much of it. This is an apples-to-oranges metric..
The women all go for the hot guys. Thus, they actually have more opportunity than the hottest women who are actually competing with all the other women for the same dude.
The answer to your first question is that most women don't want it at all. So, as a result, the few who do want it get their pick, while the ample guys who want it are forced to compete for the tiny pool of girls who are interested.
Not I that men don’t want it, but rather that the hot guys are actually more valuable than the hot women, because they are in more demand than the hot women are because the women restrict their hookup artificially tightly.
And therefore, supply of hot guys is actually less than demand from hot + average women.
Girls are in more demand, in general. If you don't acknowledge that, this whole post comes across as you trying to make yourself feel better. And from that fact, it should be easy to understand why stiffer competition appears to result in better competitors.
Sample sizes of one make for interesting stories because they tend to not represent the norm.
But anyway, the metrics for attractive for each gender are orthogonal to each other. No matter how long a dick is, if you're trying to put it in sideways it's going to seem shorter than any put in correctly.
Yeah, I actually think his looks are too much. My idea of the attractive man is rather the gentlemen in the pics below. I feel like a lot of women might be put off as well.
To me, not even remotely, but as in all things related to attractiveness it is subjective. For example, I live in Newport Beach so my scale is skewed completely from what others seem to have. I have never seen a 10. I have only seen maybe two or three women in my life whom I would rate 9. A few more 8. A lot of 6 and 7. But that is my personal scale.
I see tons of super hot people in this area, but I frankly hate the culture. I think families have bred here for generations, passing down what are more or less superior genes and along with that old money.
I think I'm gonna be sick. Some men are certainly very handsome. They look masculine. But beautiful guys look, and probably are, gay. And what kind of creature was in that first photo?
It depends on what the individuals find attractive. For instance, none of those men are attractive to me save for one (and he barely passed). I'm not into baby-faces: I love the rugged look. I would consider all of the women pretty. So... no.
I didn’t filter based on anything other than trying to find flawless features. I simply googled male model and downloaded some that looked to have nearly perfect features and that was how I chose.
For the women I just googled ‘supermodel’ and picked from those with the same criteria.
The idea was like, if I legitimately chose people of both sexes with the best genetics and directly compared them, would one sex be considered more beautiful than the other.
As a straight male I will never see a man as more attractive than a woman. They have no attractiveness level to me. However I can agree that some people are more physically appealing based on genetics and simple personal care and hygiene.
