Is this dress suitable for a first date? (Page 2)

Question

My friends said a dress for a first date is too much but this dress is pretty casual and I love the color, I think it'd look good on my pale skin (it does look wonderful on the model). I also like the length. I read that midi is the best length choice, most of the time at least.  I'd also probably curl my hair for a romantic look, as for the makeup something light but maybe use a lipstick to add some color... pink usually goes with green. Kinda clueless about the shoes, I'm thinking sandals? White ones maybe... I'll probably avoid heels. Or is this  brown one better? Unfortunately, the model is wearing terrible dad sneakers with it.

Absolutely, though i recommend something in terms of jewelry or a fashion belt to go with it, that way the dress pops and balances the outfit
