I just now recalled hearing of some woman decades ago that hadn't cut her hair in a LONG time and it was actually dragging on the ground behind her. I've never seen anyone with hair longer than their ankles. I never found out if she never cut it but, she was 38 when she died... about 3 years after I met her. I've actually seen a lot more guys with knee-length hair than girls!! My friend, my cousin's wife and Crystal Gail are the only girls. As for guys, Butch, the bartender at The Penguin Pub, the twins that owned The Nyambingi Club, Bobby Lennartz (a friend of my band), some "trans" Rasta guy that lives a few miles from here, the Nelson brothers (Ricky's sons) and, I THINK, the singer from Exile.
Mine won't get any longer than the middle of my back. A few strands reach my belt. I shaved it off in `89 and, except for 2 or 3 trims about 20 years ago, haven't cut it, since.

Some religions believe men should grow out their hair like the Sikhs. I do not know if it’s never cut or if it is infrequently cute, but they know this.
Yes, I've met a few of those. There were some that lived a block away from me, for a while.
I bet some women have done that, but probably not since day one.
Now that I think if it, there WAS a German society in the `30's or `40's called, The Vril who kept their hair as long as possible, at least close to the ground if not dragging on it. So, I'm wondering if it's because they never cut it from the day they were born?
I've been noticing since I was about 7 or 8 that lots of little girls around that age have very long hair and, as it took me almost 10 years to grow mine to where it is, half way down my back, I'm wondering it theirs was ass-long because they never had it cut at all. My cousin, Julie, had very long blonde hair down past her ass until she was about 12 when she was sitting too close to a fan and it got sucked into the fan and had to be chopped off. From what I recall, Jan Brady (The Beady Bunch) always had hair like, Julie's.
