Yess it is stupid for girls to have to get sent home for wearing revealing clothing. If the school actually cared about the girl learning they wouldn't do that
If girls actually cared about learning, they wouldn't complain about a dress code. They'd just keep their mouths shut and show up to learn. But, no, being able to flash their body part as if it's a fashion show matters more to them than learning.
@Wraith_Cemetery some literally just don't have a choice on how they dress cuz of being poor, not having a lot of clothing options, not having other clean clothes to wear like it's not all about fashion
@Wraith_Cemetery I know I had a issue with it cuz I didn't have many clothes cuz of being poor. Even got dress coded a few times while I was pregnant in high-school. Had to tell them off cuz I was trying to avoid clothes for myself. Didn't have the time to worry about my own clothes and was just focused on graduating
In my school the poor students were gifted uniforms. Msbooblover has a good point that it orevent discrimination and distinction from poor and rich. Nobody notices if you wear the same uniform everyday
The only change would be skirt or pants. That you could choose between the two. Other then that there should be no change. These uniforms are there for a reason. It get people of all kind down to the similar level.

There has to be rules. Young girls will always push the boundaries to the limit. I taught in schools some that required uniforms others that didn't.
No. And it's not even just girls who have dress codes. The thing is you girls just have so many fashion option that you feel so entitled if that privilege is taken away from you.
Also let me ask you. When was the last time you actually saw a guy wearing a mini skirt/short shorts, yoga pant/crop tops or any of your "showing of my skin" outfits?
Exactly. Girls always whine about "sexist dress codes" but it's the girls who are constantly pushing boundaries and showing off the most skin. Guys have been wearing the same shit for decades (tees, jeans hoodies). Girls, however, are now walking around in yoga pants so tight you can see their vagina, crop tops so short it barely covers their breasts, shorts so short that their arsecheeks poke out. Next they'll be attempting to go to class in bikinis.
Yes, absolutely. Girls should not be penalized for how guys react or feel about their appearances, and doubly so for insinuating that minors are too sexually provocative with their clothing. Let people dress how they want.
It has to apply to both sexes, not just girls. I've always thought they should allow shoulders to show at least but that's about it.

Probably not. There are no shortage of examples of young girls who've gone to school half naked. And while I'm all for that in adult women, it's probably not good for a developing youth.
Wait a second are you referring to school uniforms are are you talking about everyday average clothes if its the latter than what the fuck are you talking about even way back in my day girls had freedom to wear whatever they wanted as long as there was no nudity they couldn't wear provocative lingerie you are going to school not a party at the playboy mansion have a little dignity for petes sake
@peedy Girls these days have zero dignity and have no respect for their surroundings. Hence why they walk around everywhere almost naked (yoga pants with the vagina showing, crop tops, etc).

@Apple1996 Hahahahah, seriously? I grew up on a poor farm. None of the girls in our neighbourhood had a problem finding appropriate clothes.
Some of the most rich people on Earth dress the worst.
Wow. I thought sending girls home for dress code was a thing of the past.

I mean in class

🙌❤❤
Yes. They should be allowed to dress like whores in and out of school.
School dress codes should demand a uniform. Schools shouldn't be concerned with self-expression.
It has to apply to both sexes, not just girls. I've always thought they should allow shoulders to show at least but that's about it.

No it’s restricts both genders men can’t wear revealing stuff either. There are certain clothes men can’t wear either.
No. Heck no, if the dress code applies across the board.
Yes, more tank tops, short shorts and sports bras.
I think government-run schools should be abolished and private ones should have whatever rules they want.
Yes. Both genders should have dress codes not just girls as both are children. Stop overly sexualizing women all the time
Of course it should when I was in school I hated it
Technically, if they're public schools funded by federal tax dollars, they're supposed to abide by the US Constitution and Federal laws
I'd say make all students wear slacks and a shirt.
Um, Sure but then we will need to make another Code for when boys be boys
So the girls would get more options but the boys would still only have one yeah that's freedom and fair and by no means favoritism

I think women should dress appropriate for their weight. Many less men would be trying to claw their own eyes out
