Definitely, at least in summer. I love the carefree feel of wearing a mini skirt, with a loose top, bare legs and sandals. I really can't understand why men have to wear trousers all the time. And if we are going to wear skirts, I see no reason to be solemn and apologetic about it with dark colours and length below the knee! I love light colour minis, even pretty frilly panties underneath. There is no need to be boring and macho about it.

Most men's fashion is boring, having the option to wear a skirt or dress expands the options available, plus it's often more comfortable and more healthy! I wear skirts and dresses from time to time, usually in environments where it is more acceptable - alternative clubs and music festivals but am beginning to get braver! I'm not gay, not that that should even be a consideration, and not trying to identify as female. My choices are more masculine styles and veer towards a rock n roll aesthetic. Rock musicians have a long history of blurring gender choices in fashion and I draw inspiration from here. It's time that fashion truly embraced this trend and designed and created high street clothing for men including skirts and dresses that men might choose. It needs more of us to be brave and make those choices and start shifting perceptions and breaking down prejudical stereotypes.
Not Gonna Lie I do wear a Hot pink dress because I'm Bisexual and only one of my friends who is a girl has seen me in it and she fully supports it. most of my other friends know to and they support it too but my father is on a whole new level. my father hates people who are Gay or Bisexual and wear skirts or dresses and as you already know I wear a dress but he doesn't know this and I don't wanna tell him because I'm scared he'll do something horrible to me so I keep it hidden and wear it when either no one is home or when everyone is asleep and just enjoy the time I have with it and I love it. by the way i fully support any others boys who wear a dress
Worn both. Pants suck unless you’re working hard, manual labor. There’s a lot of stuff down there and no where comfortable to put it. Coming home from work, taking a shower, cleaning up and putting on a skirt is so relaxing, cool and comfortable. If it’s cold, wear a longer dress or add stockings. Almost every fabric made for women is meant to feel soft and sensual. No binding in the crotch and if I find a blouse that accepts my shoulders and arm thickness I don’t get chafed. I’l Pass on the heels and makeup unless my wife and I are playing role games.
I would... I like the way a dress moves. I think as it moves it cools.
I think it would be convenient. One piece of clothing covers everthing. Slip on shoes and out the door.
A man wearing a dress gets A hand job better. Easy access. Thats it wheres a dress I want a hand job now. Haha
Hell I'm kind of crossdresser now. All I need is a dress or a skirt that would make a legitimate crossdresser. So I'm half way there now.

I'd often wear skirts if it was socialy acceptable I love loose knee high skirts,(enough coverage and gives enough room in front) not sure if they look good, hard to judge because of the social stigma around it, not used to seeing it by the way, shorter than kneehigh would probably be too exposed, for a guy
But for now i wouldn't wear them, I do wear night 'dresses' tough, well it's just a long tshirt they're confortable and if i had to open the door or anything i just have to put pants on top of them for it to look 'normal'
I don't think guys should wear dresses. Yes, I know there's no set definition of normal. I do believe in equally on certain things. I like guys wearing makeup. I myself love painting my nails. However, a guy wearing a dress will get him misgendered as a lady. I'm not trying to be offensive to you ladies. I'm NOT saying guys are ladies. People see dresses, and associates them with women.
So, is your opinion solely based on societal norms? Would you be more willing to wear a dress or skirt if it were less socially taboo? If you are concerned about being "misgendered", then that would seem to me to be a personality problem, not a clothing choice problem. I have always heard that a person of strong presence can wear whatever they want, and people will see them for the person they are. A person of timid presence can only wear what society expects them to wear because the clothing speaks louder than the person. This is quite literally the difference between "wearing the clothes and the cloths wearing you".
Men used to wear skirts and dresses for centuries. So what is the big deal about it. It is about time that we as men get more freedom in the way we dress. A man in a skirt is still a man. Men look great in knee length skirts, especially pleated or kilt or kilt like skirts.
Well, I am not your typical guy to say the least so I'm not even sure if my opinion matters... however I actually prefer both skirts and dresses. I am a closeted crossdresser who enjoys dressing as a lady! I am not open with my feminine side yet and have never dressed up and gone out in public... I do wish to try it very soon though and would like to wear a pretty dress and even some cute open toed heels so I could show off my painted girly toes!! :)
i wear long (maxi) skirts not because it's a fashion trend or because i'm told to, but because it's comfortable. it's that simple. but what i got to ask is how would it be talored to men? maxi skirts should be one kind, long, loose, flowy and soft i suppose the colour/pattern being many yes, but that's about it the way i see it
BUT a dress not at all. i know the difference between a dress and a skirt, and i prefer to wear a tshirt on top,
I get ya there. Growing up in the 90's I remember seeing young black guys wearing both regular tee shirts the fit them and those who wore oversized tee shirts. The ones with the oversized tee shirts reminded me of the tunic shirts that wear the standard wear by all European men before more fitted clothes came to be standard. So if anything remotely close but still distinctively NOT to a dress would be an oversized shirt or properly made tunic, a pair of leggings and a pair of sneakers and what you have is a modern day Robin Hood without Peter Pan's hat. a bow, and his merry men (unless he's hanging around a group of like fashioned men).
I am a straight guy who does wear dresses and skirts whenever I can - my favourites are maxi dresses and skirts, also sweater dresses, although I do wear other styles as well. I find skirts and dresses so much more comfortable to wear than pants/trousers, and there are so many styles and fabrics to choose from - what is there not to like? And the best bit... when I get a compliment from a woman about the dress or skirt that I am wearing. Men's fashion on the other hand is positively boring!!
I am a guy who loves wearing skirts. I would rather wear a skirt or dress than pants any day of the week. They are more comfortable than pants, come in practically infinite styles and colors and prints and easy to wear. If I never had to wear pants again the rest of my life and only could wear skirts or dresses I would love it.
Guys. Do not reject wearing skirts until you have tried them!!!
I love wearing skirts and dresses. Never wore them out in public. Would be great to be able to without getting hassled or worse by insecure people.
Why would I want men’s cut skirts or dresses, as they would likely be made with rough fabric that men’s clothes are always made of. I will stick with feminine cut.
Always wanted to try on a skirt, bought my first one two days ago. Freaked me out a bit but got over it. Went out today to Walmart and Taco Bell wearing it. Denim skirt that sits 5" above me knees. Not sure I will wear jeans as much now. This felt like it was meant to be :-)
I have worn skirts and dresses around the house for years and recently I have started going on nights out looking very feminine with makeup, wig, dress, and heels and love it however I'd like to just be a man and wear skirts or dresses daily and be accepted by society. why can't men wear women's clothing as its acceptable for women to wear men's clothing.
I'm a 75 year old man. I'm happily married with two children so pretty 'normal'. I have started wearing skirts while pottering around at home a while ago and found I liked it. Now I've got a bit more adventurous and I'm wearing a short denim skirt while working on my boat in France. I've even gone and bought my morning baguette with the denim skirt on. So far no one has minded. It's just so comfortable and pleasant wearing a skirt.
I would prefer a robe, lol. Seriously, before men started riding horses. Everyone wore bright colors and the equivalent of skirts. Many eastern Europe, African, Indian men to this day wear Sarongs and other such things. Catholic clergy wear Cassocks. Which are boring black robes. Unless your higher ranking like a Cardinal or the Pope. They get some color.
Its a chicken and egg type thing i. e. unless more men adopt wearing skirts in public, then it simply will not be widely accepted. If male skirt wearing is not widely accepted then will not adopt skirt wearing in public.
Seems to me we need more trend setters who are willing to poke their heads above the parapet to get this whole thing moving.

if a dude is rocking a beard and a dress, I suppose they may mistake him for "The Bearded Lady".

More breathing room...if it was more socially acceptable, then yes, I would

yes, I sometimes go to the movies or the store wearing a short denim skirt. No one says anything about it, LOVE IT.
