Did my crush suddenly lose interest in me?

We're in middle school. Ok, so I think my crush lost interest in me because we use to talk a lot but now we only talk a little. He's been hanging around this girl in our class and he always be talking to her and going up to her and talking to her too but he never does that to me. Around me he's nice shows off a lot and makes me laugh. Around her he playfully argues with her and laughing at her in a mean way sometimes and having play fights with her. Sometimes at lunch he stares at me and also in classes. But one day this new guy had came in our classroom bout 2 days ago and I started talking to the new guy one day and I was laughing because he had said something funny. Then while I was laughing and talking with the new guy I had heard my crush say to his friend "I really don't find anything funny about him". Then he said "I really don't know what she sees in him". I think my crush was trying to say it in a low voice so I couldn't hear what he said, but sometimes I have good hearing. So, did my crush suddenly lose interest in me? Please, no negative comments.

I find him this fickle pickle here, dear. He may Still have Some 'Interest,' while flirting with this Other Girl, for with his actions and wondering words he displays, it is obvious he could even be a bit jealous of Another Tom who is on his Territory when he Says------I really don't know what she sees in him.
he is not committing to any one girl, that is much I know. He is doing his own prowling, even growling, speaking his mind when he feels like it and Not Obligating himself to anyone in particular.
I believe he is paying you Mind on one end because just because he doesn't 'Never does that to me,' when the chips are down and he sees someone else is Intriguing you, he doesn't want Anyone walking on his turf, bottom line.
If you have ever heard the old expression: I don't want you, yet I don't want Anyone else to have you neither.' This has been good medicine for this sour pussy to have a sour ball in his mouth and show him that He is not the only one who Can------Be Hanging around this guy in our class, when he in turn, has Been 'Hanging around this girl.'He is learning maybe he can't have his cake and eat it Two.
