We kissed twice while drunk?

So a year ago I kissed my classmate while drunk and that night we acted like a totally in-love couple (holding hands, him telling me sweet things, hugging, kissing etc.) and since it was a bit awkward, I wrote him a text saying "what happened this Saturday meant nothing, right?" And he said sure. Although it took us months to become friends again. Now, a year later, we're still classmates and have been talking quite good with each other lately. We then went to the same party and drunk-kissed each other again when we were alone. BUT he then said "We're not going to tell this to anybody right?" (I held a party like 2 weeks before and he kissed with this overly gorgeous girl) And I just said sure. He actually tried to get something more going but we got interrupted all the time. He even asked if he should lock the door but I just said no. Yesterday, a week after the party we're acting like nothing has happened and now rumors are going he likes this girl he kissed at my party, he even admitted it! But then why would he kiss me again if he likes her?? Why is he doing this?
