Would you feel weird if a guy baked you cookies?

theirs this girl I liked and made her some cookies (I like to bake, used to work in a bakery, my cookies are really good BTW) I asked her if she would like them and she said she wasn't into cookies, I don't understand, I always see her munching on stuff so I thought it would be nice to make her something. I felt so embarrassed. I thought she would at least take them, she didn't have to eat them, she could have just thrown them away, unless she felt she did not want to have anything to do with me. I felt so bad, I'm not talking to her anymore, just seems kinda mean. I guess it's good that I know not to waste anymore time on her. I mean their just cookies, who doesn't like cookies?

You`re right. Don`t waste any more time on this girl. There are not many guys around like you and if she is so blind to see that...its her loss. If a guy took the time and effort to bake me cookies, I would appreciate it so much. Even if I did not like the cookies. Its the thought that counts.

Im sure the next girl will be more appreciative because most girls would find it very sweet if a guy did something like this for them.

No! I would love that! My boyfriend bakes brownies and chocolate cheesecake for me sometimes, and it makes me so happy. It always makes my day. I think a guy who bakes is cute! <3 It's a shame that she couldn't appreciate what you did for her. Even if she didn't like cookies, she could have at least tried to acknowledge the fact that you went through a lot to bake those cookies and thought about her.

wow , I thought anyone would be happy , even if they didn't like cookies it's a lovely gesture for someone to go through all that effort just to bake you cookies . yes , don't waste any time on this girl . move on and bake for a nice girl that'll appreciate yummy cookies ! :)

Im glad you see that all of the thoughts about her were kinda stupid but really they arnt and she should have just taken a cookie when you admire someone you can exaggerate when it comes to one thing going wrong being the end, I know how you feel and if your up to it you could still try to impress her or make her love you :) I mean but answering the general question I know girls love it when their guys cookem cookies

Wow. That's just down right rude on her part. I'm a guy, but I think most girls would love the fact a guy made them cookies. Its just a really nice and harmless gesture. Even if she wasn't into you she still should have accepted them and thanked you. Forget about her, man. Bake some cookies for another girl.

did you have a good relationship with her?

you should save that stuff for your girlfriend someone that you know is into you and who will appreciate it. don't go around baking cookies for girls you like just because they're pretty...you probably came off a little too strong

I guess she didn't like me much, I know that now. I know it's kinda stupid, sometimes people do stupid things when they like someone a lot.

OMG! If a guy baked me cookies I would be head over heels... no really! I think it's a really nice gesture and if she can't appreciate it, or at least fake it! Then she is not worth your time... there are TONS of girls who would love you for it...
