Is it a bad sign if he avoids eye contact? (Page 2)

Sorry for the long story but I hope you can help me a bit 😂: So I like this guy and and we've been friends for about a year but I dont see him often. I know he's a really shy and calm person so I usually try to initiate a conversation first and yesterday I even tried to flirt a bit at a party (im really shy too but I tried my best lol) . The problem is we can have nice conversations and he laughs at my jokes etc. but HE WON'T LOOK AT ME when we talk 😭 he almost looks in the opposite direction while talking. So now i wonder if he doesn't like me/thinks im ugly or if it's just him being shy. I'm really confused and its the first time that i really like a guy like this.

Guys, How should I interpret this behavior?

well sorry i am a girl xD thats a sign if a person doesn't dare to look you in your eyes it mostly means that he doesn't have enough confidence. but it could be something else everyone is different

He's definitely nervous. That just means he is attracted to you. When your talking to him make sure your looking into his eyes and also touching him like touching his arm.

He is probably shy. I used to be really shy about 2 years ago and I couldn't even look girl that I liked in eyes for more then 2 seconds I felt really uncomfortable.

I have a problem with eye contact and that is because of social anxiety so that might be same for him. Any eye contact with any person just feels uncomfortable

Ask him. Just ask him. A lot of people have trouble looking people in the eyes, but if you dont ask, you will never know, and these insecurities about yourself will keep growing
