If you like a girl, do you automatically try to ask her out every weekend?

Or is it OK to skip a weekend here and there if you have other plans? How often do you ask her out? If you live fairly far away (over an hour) and can't hang out during the week because of work and distance, would you try to see her every weekend? And if not, why not?

bc if it is then I would say liking the person and being in a relationship with a person is very different. its not a thing that they have to automatically assume you need too.

No, I was just curious if guys want to see the girl they like every weekend or if it's normal for them to not always see them. Don't know if this guy likes me a lot and he didn't ask me out this weekend for his birthday so I'm sad and don't understand why. He asked me to come over this week but clearly couldn't because of work. Other guys I dated wanted to see me every wknd so I'm not used to this and wondering if it's normal.

We've known each other since college (dormed together) but haven't seen each other since then until now. We went out 3x to restaurants and spent the weekend at his house the past 2 weekends (we had sex those times, but only a little at night after drinking). We did more "friend" things then hook up.

Could be the whole "he's afraid to commit" thing. Also, if you're not happy with the way things are going between you and him then say something. He might think everything is just great & not know that you want more.

Yea, I get that feeling about him, he goes on lots of dates (I don't know about now that we're hanging out like that) that he's found online but seems to find a lot of weirdos! Every guy has said to say something but I really want to wait to see how things go. It's his birthday weekend and doesn't have many friends around but I saw that 2 girls and a guy friend are coming to visit so I feel a bit sad I'm not invited and confused so I'm going to see wht he does next.

Haha, well in your opinion, when is the right time for a girl to bring that up with a guy? When is too soon? I really think it is... we both don't want to get involved with something unless it's going to last at our age.
