Does she just miss the attention?

I know I probably shouldn't be posting about this because I'm in the final stages of getting over my ex who dumped me 7 weeks ago. But ever since we broke up she has been getting really close to my best friend. I think she likes him now, which is most likely the case, but could it possibly be that she just misses the attention? I mean I use to think that maybe she was just doing it to make me jealous, but my mate came over once and went on facebook and she started talking to him more or less straight away. But she talks to him about the stuff which I use to talk to her about and I'm pretty confident he has feelings for her so he showers her with attention. Do girls do this when they break-up with someone, get close to another guy just for attention? Like I said before, it's possible she likes him more than a friend, its just when I suggested she liked her before I started dating her she laughed and said no way, they had been friends for too long.

She might really be into him, I am currently with my ex's good friend and he was not happy about it at first even though it was him who broke up with me. Sorry, but you shouldn't stand in the way, if you can't deal with the thought, try not to be around them, just don't mess with their relationship- it will just bring them stronger together and you'll look like a fool. She might be doing it for the attention and she might as well like him, two months seems like a reasonable time for her to look for another person. How long have you been together?

maybe she's doing this to get rid of the feelings of lonelyness, some girls go into rebound and some girls just get another guy into their lives to draw away their attention from the break up. maybe she like the attention she's getting from the friend as a way of dealing with the break up. especially if you broke it off. she may be feeling less self worth and lonely and the attention she gets from the friend just boost her self esteem. sometimes this after a break up people can't handle being alone

I think she's just doing that because she is a sad lonely person lol... seriously and your friend is a turd to actuallly go along with it because I mean he would know how yu felt and everything.. You should just take the time to get to know someone else and ignore her TOTALLY not even watch her or anything and then yu'd see her go madd :P
