Guys, what does it mean if a guy is hot and cold with you?

Why do guys act hot and cold sometimes? Sometimes I’m certain he likes me, other times I think he couldn’t care less that I exist. Is he not sure if he likes me? are they mind games? is it him being insecure and doubting himself?

Not saying this applies to you but girls sometimes are quick to judge and decide what man's mood or thoughts are. Take the time to see what is going on and watch it play out until you feel that you are certain that it's back and forth. More times than not it is just his way of trying something new and seeing how the female of question reacts and what he should and shouldn't do to make her happy and what she doesn't like

Usually only if they really like a girl, but are unsure of where they stand.

He probably does genuinely like you, but at times maybe doubts that you feel the same or that its possible something will happen. When he feels this way, he distances himself from you, as he thinks you don't like him back.
