No, it is just one person's opinion. He was probably flirting with you or you are especially pretty to him. Another person might prefer the look of your friend. Plus, this is not a nice way to think about your friend, you shouldn't be competing with her and wondering who's prettier. Women have enough self image problems as it is.

It probably means he's a jerk, for starters, and all it means is HE thinks you're prettier - perhaps. It might just be a line because he's flirting, but even if he means it, so what? If the next random 5 guys think your friend is prettier, does that mean she is?
