Is it common for a male friend to act like this with a female friend….. holding her arm as he speaks to her, talking to her about his family etc, giving loads of eye contact with sly winks, compliments her on her looks etc, hug her goodbye and kiss her on the cheek, blow her kisses goodbye and say to her jokingly that he would marry her? what does this sound like to you?

Very possible he not only wants more, but already sees you as more (you might be the only one that thinks you're just friends?) lol. But maybe he's just really flirty and likes to tease you? It's not "normal" friend behavior no, so maybe it's time for a talk?
