Why is my friend jealous im flirting with a guy she doesn't like?

My friend has a couple of guy friends. They flirt with her and she might flirt back but she doesn't necessarily want them. They flirt with me as well but when they do she comes over and tries to be the center of attention. there's one guy that flirts with me and we hang out together and she gets jealous about it. She blows his phone up when him and I are together but she doesn't like him.

Sounds like a bad, immature "friend". She likes attention from the opposite sex because it makes her feel wanted and important. Like, she's really insecure (low self esteem) or just a total B (attention w*ore, you might know her better than some random person on the internet lol).

About the jealousy of that one guy thing. I would advice to observe her, does she do that more often? E. g. does she do that with every guy that tries to flirt with you or just only that one guy? If she does that with ever guy thats flirting with you, she might consider you as an competitor and she will try to steal every guy that will give you attention. If its only that one guy, it might be a. she's petty about the attention or b. she might like him (really depends on her and her behaviour, way too little info to tell).

If she considers you as a competitor, drop her. Asap. She'll make your life miserable at some point. You know the saying; "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer."
