Guys, What does it really mean now that he’s calling me baby?

I, F20, have been talking to a guy on Snapchat for months. For context he’s 3 and a half years older than me, not that that really matters at all. he & I matched on a dating app back in the Spring. I matched with him when I was away at college in an out of state, so I haven’t had the chance to go out with him yet. The crazy thing is, he hasn’t lost interest. He always snaps me, asks how I’m doing, calls me pretty, etc. and has been consistently doing that since we started snapping. He used to call me “queen” or “babes” but, more recently, he’s switched to “baby.” He started doing this last week when I started to respond to his snaps faster & reciprocate compliments a little more than in the past when I was a little less comfortable. I’m definitely attracted to him; I guess what I’m asking is, does the switch up from Babes to Baby mean anything significant?
