Guys, Is it physical attraction or just being friendly / nice?

I been working at this new job for a bit now. One of the guys and I clicked immediately and had inside jokes within the first week.

He is a really chatty and funny guy tho. Everyone seems to like him and his a generally playful persona. However - we can't walk past each other without eye contact or any form of interaction. And he usually hangs around me a lot even if he doesn't need to. When I wore a dress to work I noticed that his eyes went down to my legs but he didn't noticed I noticed and I smiled to myself. Immediately after he came to talk to me once I was alone. He did that quite a lot, tryna catch me alone. He casually drops really deep conversation or really deep facts about himself. He teases me a lot and has complimented me saying I was beautiful before. But we do it in such a natural way it doesn't feel like flirting at all even if it is.

We banter a lot and have a go at each other a lot. We keep insulting each other. Mirror each other a lot in gestures and facial expressions too. But what really stuck out to me today was that I was teasing him and playfully insulting him that he put me in a playful chokehold and told me how I can be this cheeky for being so short. That's the first every physical I got off of him ( except him throwing stuff at me and putting random stuff on my head to get my attention)

And he also started making me trip but making sure I don't fall as a joke today too and my only natural response was to hit him and he laughed a lot at that taking the piss out of me. I am very confused. We are very flirty I would say but again it doesn't seem like seriousness. It's all fun and playful and we even started playfully calling each other 'Madame / Sir, Pretty Lady / Pretty Boy or Hunny'.

This has been only a week so far or two and I feel so comfortable around him like I have known him and been friends with him for years. He seems to get cheekier since I playfully hit him..

So what is going on.. is he flirting or tryna be my friend?
