My partner and I are in an open relationship and sometimes see other people. I have already been given the green light to flirt with the neighbor, but I'm worried the neighbor will be confused of my advances, since he sees I live with my boyfriend.
I don't know much about this neighbor, not even his name. But I see him all the time and fantasize about sleeping with him.
Any advice on how I could approach the neighbor, flirt a little bit, and maybe drop a hint that we're polyamorous?

(The neighbor helped me change my tire one time. And he lives below us. I was thinking I could give him some cookies with a thank you card for helping me that one time and leave my number? Is that goofy as hell?) Someone help me, I have no game!

You flirt see if he flirts back which I mean.. why wouldn't your really attractive. Then just advance on it, if he asks wait don't you have a boyfriend just then tell him it's a open relationship.
Not sure how he'll respond to that if you wanted more than a fling but if it's just a fling pretty sure he's going to be okay with it.

I find it pretty easy once in a conversation, to talk about my girlfriend and that we are in an open relationship. Just nonchalantly in the midst of conversation, something like,

"Are you seeing anyone? I've been dating my girlfriend for about a year and a half now. We've been in a long distance open relationship and it's been really great talking to her about dating other people, and sharing our ideas about what love means."

That's not really a hint that you like someone, but it's enough to get the wheels in their head turning and let them think about it for a bit. The thank you bit works, but be aware just because you can play around, the neighbour might want his fun with someone committed to just him. Flirting helps, as does seeing if he has certain times he does stuff, then just be in the area by chance. Even though you ask him and see what he says, you have to be prepared for rejection.
