So I was in the "talking stage" with this guy I met through mutual friends at college for 4 months. He was really full-on at the start even though I had only just started talking to him, which was ok I guess. He kinda chased me a bit. But we got pretty close over those 4 months, and would talk over the phone pretty much every night.
He kept saying "I like it when you play hard to get with me because I take it to mean you like me ;)." And he told me he liked me multiple times.
Then one day after a few months, I got super drunk with him and told him I liked him. It was an offhand comment and not like I was saying I loved him or anything. But then he called me "weird and creepy" for saying that. And he was like "we're not even in a relationship, it's weird you told me you liked me."
Was I being creepy? I was super taken aback by his response. Especially considering he told me he liked me multiple times before.

That is weird and I agree with others who have said this he is probably a player and just wants to play games. He enjoyed that chase but when you admitted you took the chase away and ruined his fun. You don't need a guy like that. It's fine to enjoy a little chasing but to lose interest when the other does show interest is ridiculous. I don't think this guy is good boyfriend material.
He's someone who plays games. He's the type who doesn't like it when it's easy for him. He might run off when someone makes it easy for him
