He did not put his arms up to hug me back as I went in for the hug and said 'oh okay' in this really awkward (startled?) tone. But he was seated and couldn't get away, so he just let me hug him for a second, lol. Everyone laughed at me/us and it was awkward but really funny.
I have never seen him hug anyone let alone a woman, but I thought everyone else at the party was getting hugs from me and this was a good time to try hugging him too.
I'm kind of embarassed to see him again! I wonder if I totally screwed this up. He didn't push me away or anything *but* it was pretty crowded and it wouldn't have been good/safe to do so.
(and yes, after my last question I decided to see what would happen if I broke the touch barrier with him, haha)
