Just to see your reaction, to see if you really like them. I don't think I do that ... but, if I were to then I would want you to act a bit jealous but not everly just be like, "you're mine" or something...maybe not, some people find that offensive..like me =S so I don't know why I told you to say that. I think it is generally just to see the reaction. An I-don't-care attitude wouldn't be awesome and a overly jealous one would also not be cool, somewhere in the middle would probably be best.

You are right about all of the above. But one thing that you did not mention is that we also do it for you! Guys are very competitive creatures and they love knowing that they have something that others want. It gives them a huge alpha-male boost.

How do you pass the test? Don't get mad. Don't get jealous. But this is your chance to be a little more dominant. Show her that you think she's beautiful too, but remind her and others that she is yours. A take-her-breath-away kiss would be perfect at this point.

I recently mentioned that a group of guys were attractive and that they had been hitting on me to my boyfriend,he got fairly scared about that and started to pick up his act. It generally means that girls are just trying to see their reaction and it usually always works. Its the same as when men look at women in the street... We don't necessarily like it but we will deal with it. Guys will just have to deal with other guys hitting on their girlfriends. Its also fun to be hit on because you know you still got it!

I think it is done as the girl wants to feel attractive. You may need to step up your compliments on her attractiveness etc, so she knows you think she's beautiful etc. She says it to get a reaction from you, Id say something like, "well I can't blame them, you are beautiful"..

well, haha, I personally find myself doing that a lot. yea, you're on the right track: I do it to get a reaction, to get him to chase and to make him a little jealous. I mean, I guess those things are all pretty related because the reaction I'm looking for is jealousy, and usually you have to be at least a little bit jealous to be willing to chase someone. To answer the second part of your question, you "pass" by just letting her see how it made you feel. Don't just give her the reaction she's looking for because she wants it, make sure that if you're going to give that reaction that your feelings follow through on it. She doesn't want you to be fake. Just show her how whatever it is that she said made you feel and be honest about it.

haha. personally I do that a lot! I guess its just to see how you will react and to see if you get jealous. girls just like to know if the guy cares, so we mention it :)
