Why do only girls compliment me on my appearance, but not guys?

The only male to compliment me on my appearance was some guy at a mental hospital, but he said it to someone else first, and they told me. (Oh shit my bad if I'm not making sense; I'm drowsy as fuck right now lol.) Do girls only compliment me because they feel bad for me? that's the number one reason why anyone woudl want to talk to me anyway, fucking normies ew. I'm a 17 year old girl by the way and guys hate me so wtf is this?/

Guys don't typically give attention to girls who don't give interest in return. If you're just a bland subject, not showing any interest, he's going to find someone who is going to show him some interest and make him feel valued.

Simply talking in response does not count, that's bland, but if you're the one who initiates the conversation it's a whole other situation. You'd then be making a statement that tells him your interested and want to talk with him.

And also... very few young guys are confident enough to show obvious interest in a girl who first doesn't drop a million little hints that add up to one big punch in the face... you also may or may not be one of those girls who is in for a real culture shock when you enter into college.

p.s. If you're going to swear at least make a statement with it and don't just use it because you can...

Girls compliment things that are not a threat, So basically it's safe as hell to tell you how beautiful you are because you're physically pretty but not really attractive in any sense of the word.

It's a sign that you're genuinely pretty. Girls compliment each other when they actually mean it. Guys usually compliment girls only when they want a date or sex.
