Why do people have a hard time switching to a plant-based diet?

In the first two months, I consumed nothing but vegetables and fruits, and now I don't care about eating junk food anymore.

It helped claim down my crazy appetite, and I have way more energy than before. It just took me two weeks to feel good.

Everyone always looks shocked when I tell them I am eating plant-based, but I don't understand why they are surprised. Sure, the vegetables don't taste the best, but after two weeks, I don't even miss eating chicken.

I see so many fatass people with diabetes complaining about how hard dieting is, and I just go the whole plant-based for two weeks, and I dont even miss McDonald's and Popeyes. I wasn't obsessed, just overweight, and I don't have diabetes, but I really dont understand why this is so hard for some people to do.

It just took me two weeks, and I didn't care for junk food anymore. I do not understand why not just give up meat, so you don't have to take pills for the rest of your life. I don't know why someone would want to be dependent on a drug for the rest of their life than just do a full plant-based diet.
