Do you like it plain? Buttered & salted or peppered? BBQ sauced? What do you like to put on your corn when you're eating it freshly cooked from the cob?

Dang it now I want corn on the cob…lol! I love the stuff! It like it all of the ways I just don’t often go out of my way to eat any specific way so I may eat it bare or I may eat it with butter and salt or I may go all out.. depending on where I get it or who prepared it…
So basically, anything as long as it's tasty. I sometimes don't like corn on the cob because it's always too hot and gets juice on my glasses.
Haha! isn't that so annoying! My issues with corn on the cob is getting it stuck in my teeth and getting the juice all over my face. Like I can’t eat corn on the cob with a beard and I can’t eat corn on the cob with nice cloths on. Haha!
I forgot the teeth part. But I floss after dinner anyway, so it's ok.
Oh there you go! Good girl!! 😏😉
I hate flossing.
I don't mind it as long as I don't have the floss you have to pull out of the container. I like the mini floss picks.
Oh that is fair! I have never had great success with the floss sticks but you are right it is way better then the pull out stuff.
Just don't get the really cheap floss picks. I did that once and I kept having to use 2 or 3 each time I flossed.
Oh that’s annoying! So yeah! the good floss sticks and tons of corn on the cob for dinner tonight?
I'm not having the cob tonight. I asked my mom to make this one chicken, veggies, and white rice slow cooker recipe. Last night I thought of chinese food, but then I remembered that recipe. No corn is in it though, but it's one of my favorite dinners.
Oh my gosh that does sound amazing!! So it’s all cooked in the slow cooker? My mom was really big in doing stir fry but it was always all don't on a pain and some separately from the rice.
Yup. When it's all eaten together it reminds you of a roast. We're also making cauliflower rice and keto rolls. The white rice & cauliflower rice cooks separately, but everything else goes in the pot.
Gotcha! Oh goodness! Sounds awesome!
One thing I used to do during the summers was put peeled cooked corn kernels in my smoothie machine to mix with other fruits and vegetables, it would create a low calorie meal replacement to help me with weight loss, and I’ve used butter in my corn for the variety, but my favourite is just ordinary sweet corn with no special flavours added. I love corn and at 150-330 calories a serving, it’s perfectly healthy too.
I like eating my corn plain too.
Usually I have it plain, but sometimes I'll put a little butter
I like it plain too. Less mess but still sweet & delicious corn.
That's exactly it! A lot less mess.
But I might have to try it with mayo.
Lol That sounds even messier! You must have seen my earlier comment about mayo?
yeah
Boiled in salt and water so nothing cuz it has some salt taste... and the other way is making it ready over burning coals so that way also i like it plain but i see people here putting some lemon drops and some specific spice powder

i like street corn with lime and mayonnaise and cilantro but it's hard to find it good unless you're in some of the neighborhoods in DTLA
Elote is actually what inspired me to ask this question. I've never had it, but I do think it looks delicious. I mean, I love mayo so why not? And grilled corn is delicious.
Salt, pepper, and butter. Would love to try elotes.
Elote does look delicious.
Butter, salt, and the barest hint of pepper.
Coat in mayonnaise, dust lightly a little chili powder and parmesean cheese. Wrap it in (non stick) tinfoil and throw it on the grill.
Sounds delicious!
if it is good

Butter, salt & pepper, spicy mayo
I love mayo, never had it with corn. Believe it or not, I usually eat my cob plain.

Old bay, creole seasoning and butter.
Just butter and a bit of salt.
butter and salt.
Butter and either salt/pepper or old bay
what is old bay?
old bay is a seasoning blend created in Baltimore, MD for boiled/steamed blue crabs. it has celery salt (salt, celery seed), spices (including red pepper and black pepper), and paprika.
Oh. Sounds like it might be a little bit spicy. I don't really like crab, but I understand the seasoning isn't just for that.
No, the seasoning is great on everything. I use it on chicken, vegetables, on seafood, and bloody marys.
Butter and a little pepper.
Buttered and maybe salted
