What’s a way to not think about eating or food?

I’ve realized I snack A LOT but don’t eat actual meals. I really don’t know and one way I’ve been trying to avoid snacking a lot is by avoiding the food, distracting my self, or not asking my mom if it’s okay to have a snack. I will just try to eat regular meals like 1 or 2 meals a day.

Is there any tips please?
