Are kebab salads always rubbish?

It's 2 am and you need a snack to help you digest all that alcohol. It's a toss-up between a kebab and a pizza but you opt for the kebab because you don't want to wait 15 minutes for them to cook a pizza. Besides, kebab comes with salad so it's healthy. I think it's a marketing thing to win female customers because girls like salad.

But kebab salads are always rubbish, warm limp lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers that look like they've been cut with a spoon and raw cabbage. If your lucky there's a few picked jalapenos lurking in it.

So why don't you get nice sophisticated salads with kebabs?

The whole thing becomes more palatable with that white creamy greek sauce and hot sauce. In NYC they sell them on the street. But Pops, from an old boozer, the trick in such situations, when you are too sozzled to even get to food, just drink a glass of milk and swallow a lump of butter. You will have no burning in ur gut and no hangover in the morning. Works every time.

Well, it's only trash if you believe the salad part of it. Any salad that has more fat in it than any other component isn't a salad anymore. Like a 50 oz "diet" coke. The name exists just as a comfort bubble.
That being said, that breadless gyro looks delicious.

Most kebab shops here don't use lettuce but coleslaw made of white or red cabbage. Coleslaw doesn't get bad and oxidizes as soon as lettuce does.
Generally I wouldn't recommend anything from any food shops which sell fresh products like salads but don't have any cooling counter

Anytime you mix tomatoes and lettuce together, you make something I consider tasty. But I have low food standards and like over 98% of the stuff I try at restaurants.

Nothing worse than warm lump lettuce lol. You can always spray water on the lettuce and stick in the fridge for 5 to 10 and if it isn't too far gone it will soak up some of the water and make it crisper and definitely cooler but if it's you far gone it may make it worse. Works especially good for fresh lettuce if you soak it in a bowl of water and fridge. This is why you see ice on the salad at a buffet.

Keep in mind, we are talking about side salads. If you spend a little more money, the Greek salad will never let you down, never run around or desert you. A full commitment is what I'm thinkin' of.

That or maybe awesome alcohol tolerance. But I think if you drink enough, everything tastes good. I am very suspicious of my friends who are like, "I got so drunk and ordered a cheeseburger at McDs and it tastes awful! The cheese tasted so fake! And the meat was obviously frozen!" Then I think, "Dude, you need to adjust your idea of what drunk means."

We don't have many kebab places here in the US, but I've had plenty of kebab and kebab salad in the times I've spent in the UK and Australia. You are so correct... kebab salad may not even qualify as edible. 🙉🙊🙈

Its good if you want to be a fat ass lol but usually I rather go for a chicken burger and fries.. it doesn't have to be kebabs or pizza.. there is more choices lol

Depends on where you buy the Kebab. They can range from bad you dont need it at all to actually fresh and usefull.
