The waffle sandwich, right or wrong?

I believe that waffles are a one layer food. You may spread a little butter or jam but that's it. One does not create sandwiches with waffles.

I've never tried them as a sandwich personally. But I do love good chicken & waffles. I think the second one looks like a better shot. 🍗+🧇=💖

This is extremely difficult for me to decide.

On one side, the waffle is an item of tradition and culture.

On the other side, if it's tasty then I may throw my culture over board.

I'd say that sandwiched waffles are neither wrong nor right, but...

i've had one of these (with fake chicken) and it was actually pretty decent. i wouldn't go for it all the time tho

Nice try, but the waffle falls apart too easily to make a good sandwich. Stick with the butter and jam, or maybe some honey or maple syrup.
