Did your father cook for family? Was that only your mother's responsibility?

My dad had a thing for gender roles so he didn’t really bother with cooking when he and my mom were married. When they got divorced, he mostly stuck to grilling because that wasn’t really cooking to him. The ONE time he tried baking, he mixed up the sugar and salt and it turned out really gross. He thought my brother and I were lying just because it wasn’t as “good” as Mom’s but then he ate it and realized he messed up lol

It depends on what it was. My dad was really good a certain things and my mom at others.

From what I remember, it was 90% mother, 10% father cooking the meals.
