2.3K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. I read always ingredients but producers often lie. As example, I buy Sauerkraut for salads or meat dishes. Its salt cured cabbage, that develops over time sour aroma due milk acid created by bacteria. This process needs time. Most sauerkraut producer use ascorbic acid to create acidity and most write it as ingredient, but lot of producer claim "naturally cured" and don't write ascorbic or citric acid as ingredient. However It's easy to find out with a stripe test that available in drugstores.
Next candidate is honey. Believe me or not you can't buy pure natural honey without some kind of fructose syrup in grocery store, no matter how much you pay. You can test a honey with copy pencil (it's a special pencil used in the past to make copies) it starts to turn blue if there is too much water in honey but it doesn't always work correctly depending of used artificial sweetener in honey. Real honey won't make copy pencil tip blue.
Germans made honey test few years back and from 100 honeys 97 were mixed with some kind of sugar.I don't think relating on healthy ingredients in highly processed food is as much effective to avoid unhealthy ingredients and people might think. Producers lie and test are too rare, if they are getting caught nothing serious happens to them.

I just have gone to the honey thing , three or four times and i'm so p***** off , because honey is one of the most important things for your body to cure your body
And I cannot believe all the products the f d a louse companies to sell to us when they know it's poison
I have a friend that lives about 60 miles away. And there's a farmer that sells honey straight from the hive, it hasn't been boiled down. It hasn't been added to or taken from that's what I'm looking for.
But everything you find in the stores is a big lie , and they're allowing us to put that poison in our body , most of come from china that have metals inside of them that are killing us
Almost all of our foods are coming from different countries , whether they're in a can or a box
This is the other thing that p***** me off is we need to wake up. Because all these imports coming from different countries means America's not making products anymore, meaning the moment they pass the bill to where we have to use their bank, the government's bank as our bank and they own our money. And now there's no food, well, they're going to control us. F*** them - 3 mo
Well, your next thing should be cinnamon, because cinnamon is the best thing in the world for you too, but there's 2 different types of cinnamon one is fake and the other 1 is real. This stuff that you put on your toast or whatever that you get from the store in powdered form is fake. It's no good for you, there's so many products like that.

A decent quality ice cream is actually one of the 'healthier' processed foods. My nutritionist recommends it. Take her advice.

Ty for the MHO and what I think I'm getting from ice cream is fat! 🤣

I do eat some processed foods, but I’m pretty careful with them 🍜
I always read ingredient lists, just like checking a map before a food adventure. I try to avoid long lists with lots of unrecognizable additives, especially trans fats, artificial colors, and excessive sugar.
Simple ingredients feel like a good street noodle stand in Tokyo or a trattoria in Rome: honest, clear, and satisfying.02 Reply

3 moI try to not eat processed foods or fast food as much as possible. Corporate brands selling processed foods are NOT your friends and cannot be trusted. They make food products to make money. Period.

If you look at everything, even our fruits and vegetables are coming from different countries, a lot of our can things box things, different countries, because our government is making it. So the farmers and corporations don't make anything anymore. They want us dependent on foreign countries. So when The government tries to open up their bank and we put all our money into it. Then they can shut down overseas products coming into our ports. And then there's no food whatsoever. Then they have us by the balls
I try to eat processed food rarely. Sure I do, sometimes I read the ingredients. I know - too fat - too much sugar - too salty - no secret.
I try to avoid ingredients that may cause cancer. I hate palmoil. I don't like big brands as Nestlé for their behavior. So I chose most time very exactly what I buy. Sometimes I have a "cheat" day. So pizza Gustavo or chocolate café dessert. Ice cream without palmoil and real clotted cream. Delicious! Or simply Fast Food. That's it.10 Reply- 3.3K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic.
3 moI eat a lot of rice, noodles, yogurt, cheese, and real ingredient, Chinese ice cream. I also use vinegar, soy sauce, spiced oils, pickled vegetables or milk in my morning chia soup. Most of my vegetables, meat, and fruits are not processed, but eaten directly after cooking, with no alteration to it.
10 Reply And that's why I talk to Gemini just before I eat! Although I know my body, the knowledge improves the effectiveness of how I eat. I check because of this and my troubles with feeling full. To answer your question, I tend to eat whatever's on my plate.

3 moYes, we eat some processed foods- very hard to avoid, unless you want to spend your whole life cooking. We both had to go on vastly restricted diets. Basically, if it tastes good, we can't eat it. So, we are cooking more from scratch. Those "meals on the run" are almost a distant memory.
10 Reply 715 opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. Mostly I don't. We buy almost everything we eat fresh or fresh-frozen. We do get beans and tuna in cans. I eat Mission tortilla chips but they are just corn, salt, and oil. We eat very little packaged food.

3 moI read the ingredients and will at least avoid anything that has GMO's in it!!
I used to like Lay's chips until I found there's something they put in them that's not at all good for you but, I no longer recall what that is. I just avoid everything by Lay's flat out! Other companies have done the same and I avoid them, too. So far, Bachman, Utz and Synder's Of Berlin are the only ones that seem to be safe. I think Rold Gold is okay, too.00 Reply 4.9K opinions shared on Food & Beverage topic. I eat some but mostly no. I try an avoid most processed foods. I do not buy cold cuts any more

3 moI don't worry about it. Joggers still die. People that eat "healthy" food die. Lift weights , you still die. Unless you can prove I will live to be 150 years old and can still get around , who cares?
11 Reply As much as possible I don't like eating it. I prefer real foods like fresh cook meal not instant foods.
