Why would a girl interrupt a conversation you are having with another girl?

I was talking with a girl friend of mine and this other girl interrupted the conversation me and her were having. she said "What are y'all talking about?" of course i ignored her but the girl i was actually talking to told her what we were talking about... Why would she go through the trouble in trying to find out what we were talking about especially since all she ever normally does is sit behind and look at me from afar... i'm confused... And they do not normally talk to each other, as a matter of fact they bicker with each other when they talk... its weird...

I don't know why that automatically means playing around or jealousy. What about attention? Like, duh, it looks to me like she wants you to be aware of her, and maybe she has trouble starting conversations so she wanted to jump in and talk to you while she could.

but why would she want attention from either one of us when she doesn't normally talk to either one of us... and she kind of dislikes the girl i was talking to... lol

Well the fact that she risked talking to you two with a girl she didn't like as part of the conversation makes it even more likely that she likes you. If she likes you, she had to start somewhere.

She may have just wanted to be apart of the conversation, but was rude in her approach of joining it.

she wasn't even part of it... she just asked what we were talking about and turned her attention elsewhere... Plus she normally doesn't talk to either one of us so it wouldn't make sense to start now...

hmm, that is strange. Maybe she overheard you two talking & was interested in the topic...
