Why do girls like older guys?

not sure what makes them more appealing to most girls other than "maturity" which we all know is not always true. what do girls like about older guys? maybe I'm wrong and some girls like younger guys? maybe older guys that look young appeal to some? I'm just confused cause older is less beautiful, and means the person is closer to becoming immobile, lazy and cranky.

Maturity is mostly always true... and older is not always less beautiful... at least not from a girl perspective... or my personal opinion... I like mature faces on men because it looks more attractive, more character, handsome, professional? Of higher better quality? I'm not sure how to describe exactly what I mean... but it's just better... ... I'm not talking people who are shriveled, wobbly 89 year olds that need a third leg to stand... I mean it would be weird for anyone to feel attracted by that... lol

But simply maturity in all forms will always seem more attractive to most girls in general, as oppose to a younger baby face guy which to me lacks attraction because it kind of resembles kids... or women,,, and I'm not into kids or women lol in that sense of "attraction" ...

Anyway, just cause most girls prefer older, that doesn't mean there aren't some who are interested in younger.. there is...
also I believe that if a woman is over 50 and doesn't have a husband, she will perhaps be attracted to younger guys than her, but not drastically or dramatically younger... maybe late twenties and such,,, and maybe only if they see the guy showed interest in her first... and I say this from what I think I seee in other people... cause most girls even at old age seem to be attracted by older men...

Maturity embodies a lot of things. Women tend to mature a lot sooner than men... so it makes sense why women tend to go for older men. They tend to not play any games, they tend to know what they want from the jump and where they want the relationship to go, they are more ready to settle down and they are just more SERIOUS overall.

In terms of physical attractiveness, men tend to look their best in their middle to late ages. Women tend to look best in their younger years. There have already been many polls and surveys on this, so I'm not pulling this out of nowhere.

Uhm I mean I'm probably weird, but it's because it makes me feel safer I mean they're older, smarter , etc, it just makes me feel more protected rather than with a guy that's younger

Girls are told their whole lives that they are significantly more mature than guys.(Girls on average start the process of puberty 2 years earlier than men and now it's spiraled to woman at any stage of life always being more mature than a guy the same age)

When you're told your whole life how much better you are you tend to believe it even if confounding evidence says otherwise.

Wrong... I was never told this... it's just something you learn from experiences as you get older and see how hints are... then when you actually do get older you come across articles and such that state what you have already discovered so long ago...

Attraction happens naturally, And not solely because someone said so... we just feel more attracted to older guys by nature... so as we get older some of us try to find out why this happens and that's when people start running into these surveys which may or may not be 100% true, yet the reality remains being what it is, that the vast majority of women are attracted to maturity while men on the contrary always seem to be allured by younger.. which is why there are more male pedophiles than there are women... .. it is what it is.

First off, you're wrong about older being less beautiful. At your age, women mature far faster than males. So they naturally go towards the older man. But later in life, it often goes the other way.

I personally prefer to date someone who is around my age, 2 or 3 years older is perfect. I guess it's because of maturity. I have better conversations with them.
I don't understand girls who go for 10+ years older either. The age gap is just too big.
