Why would a girl asked for my snapchat but never carry on a conversation?

This girl I barely know asked for my Snapchat over Instagram. I gave it to her and she snapped me a somewhat flirty hello and we talked for a little bit. Since then, I have been the one to initiate conversation every time and she doesn't carry a conversation very well. She just says stuff like haha cool and stupid shit like that. She always responds but nothing that adds to the conversation so Im always the last to respond. So what's the deal? She was obviously interested in me enough to ask for my snap but now I'm not sure? She couldn't have lost interest in me after one bs conversation. I don't want to overthink this but I don't know what to think. Should I continue to make the first move?

No how about you stop talking to her a find other things to do. Never assume that a girl likes you cause you have a social media contact. It's not a number so it only means she can keep an eye on you without directly doing so. Girls add the most people on social media for all reasons.. but not to hook up girls are pretty direct in getting numbers.

I hate when people do this, like why snap me in the first place if you don't want to actually have a conversation. Some people even just reply with their face when I say things, or even not at all. I personally think it's pretty rude and wouldn't want to deal with her
