Girls, at what point do you consider a girl to be dressing like a slut?

I was walking with my dad at festival this weekend. He kept saying all the teenagers there were dressed like sluts. I tried to explain to my dad that's the way teenagers dress these days but it made me wonder what is the girl code for dressing like a slut, does one still exist?

I have seen many different women and teenage girls who dress very provocative or just don't wear much clothes at all and I don't really know if they are sluts or not. I used to wear extremely short shorts when I was a teenager too during the summertime because we lived in the high desert and the summer months were excruciating with the heat. My step dad hated it and my mother called it, "casting your pearls before swine" When a woman or a girl barely wore enough fabric to cover her breasts or her ass, I didn't understand what she meant because I was a fifteen year old virgin and didn't know s*** about sex or seduction. She used to tell me that a real woman leaves some parts of her body to the imagination rather than displaying her coochie on a platter. I still wonder to this day if women who dress this way really are "sluts" or just lazy about approaching men and wear revealing clothing to get men to look over at their breasts spilling out of their tops and look at their vagina labia bulging through their tight fitting pants so, the men will come to them and they don't have to really strike up a conversation or ask a guy for his number. I will probably never know because I have a feeling if I asked someone who dresses like that why, they do it, I have a feeling that I wouldn't get a straight answer or they would probably get offended.

I would say if their breasts and butt cheeks are hanging out. I mean have some respect for yourself. It's obvious when women wear revealing clothing to get attention from men. That first picture you have of those young females look pretty dang revealing to me. I personally wouldn't wear anything like that.

i always loved to wear the short dresses or skirts the heels and make up i know a lot perceive that as slutty... but it's fun and i know it can also get you in trouble... make fat girls jealous... i mean it's only clothes or lack of... i don't know something in me wants to dress sexy at times... at times not so sexy... we all feel different things on different days and times.

at what point do you walk up to a girl and go man, she has a really sluty outfit on, or does that not even apply anyone considering the slut walks and such. I would never call a girl a slut but it makes me wonder at what point girls would consider this, if not at all. I personally think it's a bigot type comment myself but I still am just curious. My dad as I was walking with him said if I had a daughter I would never let her go out dressed like that, my thought is she is just exploring her sexuality, where does one draw the line?

I don’t think you can guess by how someone dresses - some of my sluttuest friends were accountants who dressed like it!
