Why do some girls like being treated like shit?

When I go out and talk to girls. It seems some girls like guys who are rough with them and it turns them on and these women are beautiful. Why would they want to be treated like shit? I would want to love and pamper them. I just can’t get me head around this.

I used to be in a really toxic relationship (my ex asked me to fuck a dog once... I didn't obviously). When you're so deep in love you're not willing to look at reality, and you're able to excuse every horrible thing he does to you because you care for him. It's sad, and the only way out is for him to do something drastic enough for you to come to your senses and leave (for me, he forced me to give him a blowjob, left bruises... :/ ) You can only hope that they wake up and realise how horrible their boyfriends are before they seriously hurt them.

I would venture that it's more likely that they are USED to being treated like shit, and not so much that they like. Sometimes pain you're familier with is easier than the unknown.
