Why is anti-natalist mentality so prevalent among feminists?

Anti natalism is a philosophy that is against birthing children. I want to know why its so prevalent among feminists. Its pushing me away from these women. The more I learn about the sociology of feminism and modernism in general the more that I see tradition as the only remedy to the cancer that is modernity.

Oh for god's sake, another person who doesn't understand feminism. Feminism is not "anti" birthing, it just promotes the idea that women should be able to choose how to live their lives, and not be obliged - as they were for hundreds of years, until about the 1960s - to be the child bearer stay at home mum, cooking, cleaning.

Now women can choose to have a career if they want to.

You got it wrong, I'm not saying its an integral part of feminism, I'm asking why so many women who are feminists have an anti-natalist mentality.

I actually never heard a feminist say that they don't want children to be born. They want women to have the choice to not have children if they don't want to. But I wouldn't say they are against children in general. Or do you mean feminists themself don't like to get children?

Children are a lot of work. And nowadays both partners need to work in order to provide for a family. So it's job, household and children. I'd rather just enjoy my life. The world is overpopulated anyways

The world is not overpopulated. China and India and africa are overpopulated. China and India have 2/3 of the worlds population while only being 2 of the 5 countries of the world.

Secondly more and more jobs are able to be done from the home, meaning that commuting will be decreased, as a result more time for the children will be available.

My job can't be done from home. But even if, I'd rather have time to mysef than dedicate my whole life to another human being.
