Girls, What does it mean when a girl seems genuinely happy to see me?

I didn't get any responses so I want to repost this question.

I said hello to this girl at my work, who i get along very well with. She seems to be very happy that i said hello to her. She fully turned her body to face me and started a conversation with me. The way she looked at me was different to other girls who i talk to at work.

She even intiated conversation with me the other day by yelling out to me in a very happy tone saying " you having fun there". I was just doing a pretty boring job that was right in her sight. I replied with a response in a joking manner and she giggled.

She may like you but she also may just see you as a friend. Tbh this is how I treat my male friends; I just enjoy their company and get excited to see them. Now if she starts playfully touching you, you can pretty much assume she’s attracted to you. Just based off of what you’ve said so far though it could go either way.

It seems like it's just apart of her personality when she enjoys seeing someone who she knows and likes talking to. Which can easily be mistaken for flirting and some women don't even know that's how they come off. I've mistakenly done this myself

She went a bit quiet with me for a bit but wasn't ignoring me. Like she seemed a bit nervous around me. It was after i said to her she looked nice one day. But now she is gone playful, smiling and talking to me again. It was just when we made eye contact i feel like something is there

Well, you could've made her bashful, and she got really shy. But if she's back to being herself again then that's a great sign. I'd give a bit more time to ask her out if that's what you're wanting to do.

Is the bashful thing bad?

No, bashful isn't necessarily a bad thing, but some women don't know how to channel that emotion. So, some women turn inwards (get quiet, shy and can't speak) while other women thrive on it (exciting, flirtatious and talkative)

We do have very good conversations and she has made eye contact with and we smile at each other. She sometimes waves too. I've just noticed there is something about the way she looks at me. Like there is a sparkle

She went a from chatty and seeming interested. Then i complimented her once she looked nice. Then she went a bit quieter/ nervous looking with me but wasn't completely ignoring me. Now she is showing that sparkle and wanting to talk to me again. Just seemed weird
