Signs of a girl being shy or nervous around you?

Hey,

I need some help knowing the signs that a girl who is interested in me, is being shy and nervous around me. Body language, facial expressions, etc.

Also, how can I tell the difference between her being shy/nervous and her simply giving me the cold shoulder?

Well I am a shy girl. Some of things I have noticed myself doing

I blush and often find myself either outright staring or totally avoiding eye contact. I can start rambling and offering up too personal information or conversely I can be scared to really say anything. I just seem awkward I think fidgeting, I have even suddenly bolted out the door mid conversation I didn't mean too mind you. I will if I am feeling more bold that day to have physical contact, get one on one time, or just be near in the vicinity. I will give small gifts like maybe candy. I will attempt to share parts of myself and try to engage the guy in light conversation if I can. Sometimes I might talk louder (because I get excited) or laugh nervously, I might even laugh or smile at wrong moment because of nervousness. I will compliment the guy sometimes I will state an opinion a bit too forcefully or talk about an uncomfortable topic then go silent when I realize I should shut up. I usually dress very casually but if I like someone I may put on clothes that I like that make me feel better I still won't do makeup and I am not going to show up in something I am uncomfortable with but I make more effort. If I get the vibe he's not interested at all I totally psyche myself out and will have difficulty approaching or talking at all. If I've got good vibes I will in my own awkward way try to initiate conversations. I do not call and would much prefer if they called me or better yet emailed its easier for me to think when I can write.

I am extremely awkward and just writing this I realize I am big dork, its a wonder I have ever gotten a guy to look twice lol

OMG! its the same with me! I'm such and awkward person! I always blabble about stupid stuff and sometimes I stutter! and I'm extremly shy! sometimes I don't know what to say to a guy and most times when I talk to people I feel like I'm annoying themmm ...

It could be just her looking down, avoiding eye contact with you. Also blushing is a major thing that will give it away. She's smiling even if nothing is really happening. She may also have her arms close to her side. For me when I'm nervous I have a tendency to have my toes be pointed to the ground, and slightly twist my waist around. I don't know why I do it, it just happens. Also I tend to "play" with my hands, as in switching position and playing with my hair a lot more too. It could be that with other girls too.

The difference between her being shy/nervous and giving you the cold shoulder is if she's interested in what you are saying/doing. If she tries to ask questions, make a conversation (even if it fails), compliment, listen to what you're saying, than she's probably just shy or nervous. But if she's not really caring, safe to say it's the cold shoulder.
