Girls, Is it my place to tell a girl not to cut her hair short?

Okay I hate it when women cut their hair short. I'm like it makes you look so unfeminine and unladylike. I feel as if that girls should always have long hair that goes all the way down to their back and I hate it when women cut their hair up to shoulder length or even shorter. Like I don't know why women choose to cut their hair when most guys don't like it when women cut their hair short, I mean do ladies even think about us men when they cut their hair short. I just feel as if women should never cut their hair short and whenever I hear a girl say she wants to cut her long hair short I want to tell her to not do it.

You can give your opinion, but she will likely go ahead and cut it anyway if that is what she wants to do. Ultimately, it is her decision.

To answer why a woman would cut her hair short when most men dislike it: As someone who has cut my long hair to shoulder length in the past, I did it mostly because I was sick of the extra maintenence it required and how easily it tangled (just walking outside for a couple of minutes on a windy day made it a complete nightmare, too), so that may be why some women choose to cut theirs, and it's a pretty valid reason if you don't want to fuss with it. Others just like the look better, want a change, want to donate their hair, etc.

Don't get my wrong, I agree with you women's hair looks better when it's longer. Just like girls like guys hair when it's shorter. You can share your opinion if she's your girlfriend or if she asks you, but if she's a just a random girl who didn't ask you then I'd say don't say anything.
