Why can't my wife get pregnant?

We been trying to have a baby since we been together I been with her for 2 years we been married for about 2 months. She's had 4 miscarriages several false tests she's really upset and confused about it she has a son from her first marriage he's going on 10 his dad is no longer alive we started dating no long after he died we been best friends for years I've always been really close to her. She had a miscarriage last year not long after we started dating. She thought she was gonns be having twins she lost one of them around Easter this year then the other one not long after she just recently lost another one. She's starting to think she won't be able to have another baby she's about done. She's on the IUD birth control she said when she was younger she and her husband then watched the show I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant it made her think that you can have a baby no matter what she remembers one where a girl did have a baby with an IUD not long after watching the show which is why she's so confused about it. She said she feels really stupid for trying thinking she'll be able to. How can I make her feel better? Why can't she get pregnant?
