Do girls approach hot guys?

Just curious if girls approach guys they find hot. I've been told I am very attractive but only a handful of girls have approached me to start a convo. I get a lot of looks/stares from girls when I'm out but that's usually where it ends. My friends notice it every time they are with me. So my question is do girls approach guys they consider hot?

I’ve met hot guys and it never occurred to me to approach them. I just act like they don’t exist when we’re not at work or school and respect them like anybody else when we are in a place where our paths intersect. I only approach attractive guys I believe I can maintain a long term connection with that is high in quality and closeness and I don’t glance at unattainable people. In the same way that you ignore limos or Lamborghini’s when you don’t want to buy one.

I'm starting to think it's that way for a lot of people (myself included).. i used to approach random girls when I was younger but I stopped doing that. I just don't understand why so many girls look (almost to the point of staring) at me and even follow me around but never approach me. I get followed by random groups of girls at least once every time I go to the mall. It's actually kind of creepy tbh.

It happens, but it's pretty rare. Most girls' first move consists of sending you signals that they are interested.

Checking you out, smiling at you, smalltalking when it's not strictly necessary. . . stuff like that.

I think you're right as that has been the case for a few years now... however in your first comment, I never really payed attention to any of that so I will have to look for signals. I guess the other day when I was in the mall the girl who cut right in front of me while I was walking and kept looking back at me out of the corner of her eye was probably hoping I would say something. I had made eye contact with her twice prior to that. Maybe if I pay more close attention to their signals I'll get better results.

As long as you have a drivers license, a car or any vehicles, money and house. You should be fine. Drivers licenses for dating is the new standard now.

is it common for girls to approach guys that are in like the top 10% lookswise? That's what I've been told I am... I'm also very muscular especially in the arms and chest. people tell me that girls are afraid to come up to me because I "intimidate" them with my looks. I don't know.. i really don't think I'm that great but I always have guys coming up to me asking me to hangout with them to help them get a girlfriend.

Yeah, it can be intimidating especially when it’s a guy who’s muscular. Honestly, some girls might just assume that you aren’t single. Or if I’m going to be completely honest with you some people could just assume that you aren’t the type of person they want to date. I have met a lot of pretty guys who are jerks (not trying to say that you are a jerk or that all pretty guys are jerks, but there is a bit of a trend)

Well, I can be a jerk sometimes lol... I notice a lot when I meet eyes with a girl in passing she will either glance away quickly or look down and not look up again. It's either that or they will look almost to the point of staring. That's why I try to not look at people much when I'm out. I am usually by myself because most of my friends live further away so maybe girls are reluctant to approach someone that's alone too, I don't know. But you could be right... a lot of girls I talk to ask me if I have a wife or girlfriend so maybe they think I am not single.
