Am I the only one who rather side with men?

Question

I am a girl, which rather side with men. I just feel more related to them. I see them as allies, potential boyfriends.
Whereas women, I see competition, drama.
And I absolutely despise women, who hurt or screw over men.
Am I the only one with life circumstances which led me to this?

I had a friend like that... she always got used and dumped by men. She also always claimed to prefer men over women, always sided with them etc I hope in your case it doesn't stem from having daddy issues and won't leave you in a similar position. Aside from that, well - if you can't objectively assess a situation and side with the person who is right regardless of gender then you're biased and sexist. No matter if you side with men or women you're not reliable in your judgement and could get hurt because of it.

The vast majority of guys (certainly ones I'd consider dating) value guy friends over girl friends. Also, many of these men mistrust women with a lot of guy friends. Both men and women have problems and can be toxic... but you're denying yourself the amazing experience of having girl-friends because of your own attitude, not theirs.

Personally I know a few women than hurt men and a few men that hurt women... I'd say from my experience and observation, men are worse in that regard. I've heard things that you wouldn't believe and I knew these people for years and partied with them. Still, none of those things would make me judge one or the other more harshly, I always try to retain objectivity. No man or woman can hurt you unless you let them and the first step is to form a bias and put them on a pedestal.

You’re not wrong at all. I completely agree with you. I see majority of women around me of my age the exact same way. Also I’m more of a tomboy and calm in nature, that’s why I cannot stand certain types of obnoxious women.
This is the reason I chose to be in male-oriented jobs. And I actually feel more at home in male-oriented jobs as well. Like Police, Military, EMS, Security, and so on.

I despise other feminine girls because of their materialistic behavior, their self centered behavior, their egocentric behavior. I’m usually in manly jobs like police , firefighter, ems.. because i cannot stand being around other women. The majority or my coworkers and friends are males or other tomboy/ Butch females.

I also have PCOS that causes more testosterone like a man.

I have more peace within me, I cannot stand drama, I don’t cry easily.. etc etc

So; I can relate to this post. About not hanging out with demonic bot females like that.

Am I the only one who rather side with men?

(Also I don’t understand how majority of females can’t have a BIG O, by just inserting a man inside. WTF? Is that even true?)

I feel the exact same way about girls and dudes in my life - Like literally ma last reply I was talking about how I have many more girl friends because of guy friends - I never knew how to explain it - But it is that weird tension like we're in competition to being the most badass dude around which from one look leads us to dislike each other - There is no such thing with girls - I also really enjoy the teasing and bantering that'd sound gay af with a dude.. I'm around your age and I prefer not to side with people based on their gender. I've had a fair share of backstabbers from both genders.

For me it depends on the kind of person they are and whether we can vibe. I have two guys I regularly talk to and one female friend I often talk to. They're amazing people.

It sucks that when you're around the wrong people though. You can't seem to trust them and you feel this competitive tension :/

I've seen men putting down other men and women putting down other women too. I don't understand why they feel the need to boost their egos instead of supporting each other. Instead of masking your insecurites, why not just help each other through it?

Ignore those toxic women who bullied you. They're a bunch of nobodies. There are good and bad people of both genders but don't generalize a whole gender. If a woman is nice to you and you want to be friends with her then be friends with her. I understand you having a preference for men as friends and getting along with them better. You're certainly right about how there is competition and drama among women, especially in friend groups. There are women who are catty and jealous but not all of them are like that.

Men are simpler beings than women. Most men are less malicious than women, if a guy doesn't like you he will stay away from you or tell you point blank. But most girls will pretend to like you just so they can get close to you and learn your weak spots in order to really hurt you. Most girls tend to be manipulative and abuse other people (especially other girls) emotionally & mentally, which is so toxic.

I completely understand how you feel, I grew up around guys both in my family and in my social life. It's only in high school where I got female friends and it was a big unpleasant transition for the most part. BUT GIRLS WHO LOVE FOR REAL LOVE THE HARDEST 💯

to be honest, yeah me too... ofc, context matters, but i just find so women bitchy asf. ofc that would be like saying most men are perverts, but I don't know. maybe its just that i don't know much about men and that's why i'm willing to side with them more? and part of it is that the standards for men are higher for the most part in my opinion and i kind of sympathize with them as well.

No you’re not the only one. I think most women hate other women as well. Too much estrogen and emotion can really be straining. Most of the girls I know are friends with only guys. They like the conversations and the attention as well. One girl at work started getting the evil eye from other girls because she was so friendly with guys. Honestly I totally agree. All my guy friends are so chill and I always can be myself near them. I don't have to have to deal with boy drama. Though my guy friends "annoy" me about my crush, they do it as a joke, and its not dramatic or anything. On the other hand with my girl friends, they're always going to far with jokes and everything.
