I'm a pretty feminine person, so I don't look for feminine guys particularly. Even if a guy is masculine, I still want to sorta dominate him overall. Not necessarily in activities or whatever, but status wise?

Like, I rather boss him around and him be whiney and stupid than me. (not saying women are whiney and stupid, sorry if that came out the wrong way) I rather him lay his head on my lap and come to me to cuddle, rather than me come to him. Im more of a colder person anyways, so expressing affection is kinda cringey to me. So i think if i ask for it, its cringier than giving to the asker?

Does any of this make sense? Does anyone relate? Does anyone know why I am this way?

You just want to nurture you boyfriend like mother and dominant on him. So may be you have just a different nature to be dominant and there nothing wrong in that but for longer period of it will affect you. Some people want to be dominant in bed and some in life you are the person who want to be dominant in life. It's okh

Maybe you just want a dom/sub relationship where you’re the dominant one. If he doesn’t fit, there’ll be lots of guys wanting to be dommed.
And comparing any relationship to a parent/child one is weird no matter the gender, I recommend not doing that unless you’re changing his damn diapers
