Why would someone say this to me on snap?

I was simply posting on my Snapchat story and this girl replied saying the exact words, “you post so fucking much on your story I guarantee nobody cares at all and I swear everybody swipes right through it Jesus Christ you’re annoying.” And then blocked me. I don’t even know this girl. It truly made me upset because I already have no self-esteem so this only made me feel worse about myself. But I was only posting about my favourite singer coming out with new music. I don't know why someone would say that.

So the key points here are:

We all only get to speak for ourselves, she is attempting to add weight to her own voice by presuming to speak for other people, you dont get to do that, its not everyone, its only her.

The second point is that she actually did care enough to complain which rather undermines her argument.

The long and the short of it is that she is retarded and there was no need for the shitstorm exit, she could have just gone directly to the blocking part.

You dont need people like that in your life anyway so this was a good day, you successfully removed one asshole from at least part of your world.

Dear young person,
At least 50%, if not 60%, of the people you are going to meet on this planet, are either stupid, ignorant, rude or just a waste of time. IF you let them affect your personal feelings because they are assholes, you're going to be miserable most of your life.

Your issue right now is your own self-esteem. You're 17, and you think of yourself as having "NO self esteem". You need to talk to an expert in the field and correct that, because THAT is what matters most in your life now, and in the future. What some fucking girl on Snap does is totally irrelevant, and you need to recognize that.

Honestly don’t worry, that behaviour is a reflection of her bitterness in life, take it with a grain of salt. I know it’s easier said then done, you’re younger so it probably hurts more. But eventually as you get older trust me you’ll care less what others say. Personally though I find social media toxic.

That’s why I have l limited myself from giving my opinions on political, religious or economic matters even though I study those areas in my free time and in university grad school through a concise manner. I post stuff about basketball 🏀 of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O’Neal, and others and I know most of my followers don’t care but that’s fine since I love basketball.
