Why are women more jaded when someone says they love their personality?

I notice this trend on tiktok where they would make a post called "I love you for your personality" before switching to a video of their body which the caption "personality".

Just curious why young women appear more jaded and think if a guy says that he is lying and really just wants her for her body.

Emphasis on the word “trend”, and note that it is not a hugely popular one because many women do not think the same way. For the ones that do though, they’re not entirely wrong in their thought process. Just as men do, women speak from their own experiences and it’s not jaded to say they’re encountering men who only want them for their body. Since you’re familiar with TikTok, from an unbiased perspective you can say that you see men being super thirsty under some of those trending videos. Comments like “don’t ask me the color of anything” and so forth are super common. Then you have guys making their own variations of the same videos the “jaded” women are. Just as girls are half naked, guys are too, posting videos that purposely showcase their bulges, often shirtless, etc etc. This is just what’s happening in current times, for both sexes.

Because they know that's just game. I can like a woman's personality, but I really like her body. I tell them they look good all the time and they appreciate that. They put a lot of work into looking good.

Because women aren't as dumb as they play. They know this is what they mean when they say a guy's personality is most important. And so they think "why would a guy be any different"?
