Girls, My ex has abandonment issues and was talking with me everyday until she said she was seeing someone, now fb official. "No contact" still work?

My ex and I dated for 2 years. We remained in contact and had a snap streak and everything. Hung out, hooked up, grabbed dinners, she came over for Easter and cuddled with me and I always kissed her goodbye. A month later I asked her to hang and she said she was seeing someone. I had a breakdown and begged for her back and told her I thought we were getting back together and that I was still in love with her. She said I needed to move on and that I would find someone. Then she said I was still the best sex ever and she didn't sleep with him yet (bullshit). 2 weeks after I'm in no contact she is Facebook official with him. I blocked them both on everything. I'm on day 18 of no contact. She has abandonment issues that I've researched. My question is will she still think about me in no contact or has she completely detached from me because of her abandonment issues. I'm doing no contact to move on but am curious if she will still think of me or reach out. Was blocking the right thing to do? I would like her back but I'm also trying to move on which I think will help me in the long run.
